Whther he ate a apple or a plum it really, really doesnt matter.

and if he gave us free will so he doesnt know the utcome then he isnt all knowing or all powerful

*yes, God does know all...but we don't. therefore..we have the ability to change our outcomes by the choices we make*

That is completely irrelevent

*Why have children if you feel that way, they will mess up also, eventually.*

What??? no, you dont know EVERYTHING they are going to do, if you did im sure you wouldnt be so sadistic to d what 'god' did

You cant claim it is a metaphor, what does it teach? sadism?

Some of these anwsers contradict themselves, stating he didnt know but knows everything.

how can they be experiments? he knows EVERYTHING already, why experiment

how can it be a plan for the ultimate plan to rid the world of evil, ALL HE HAS TO DO is blink and everyones happy

he cant *hope* they dont fall to temptation, he already knew they were, dont you see?

You'll forgive me for discrediting this religion, but i have NEVER seen a anwser that was well thought out and not easily countered

If your entire motivation is to
disregard every answer given
to you, then you will never
understand the real one when
it comes.
Here's mine: God created
humans with a free will. He
did not create robots. They could just as well have done whatthe Lord said in the first placeand "don't eat". If you willresearch this tree, you will find that the name of the tree
is "the knowledge of good and
evil". they had never known
evil and were never meant
to know evil. They were pure
and were meant to stay that
way. It was the great seducer
that said, "Hath God said????
putting doubt of God's Word
in their minds. Further he
said, eat and you will know
the knowledge of good and
evil. They were already in
disobedience and had begun
the fall, so that they could
not understand the difference
between good and evil. What
did the seducer show them?
He showed them evil only and
in that moment the devil
won the whole earth...because
God have given the earth to
Adam and Eve...and the seducer took it straight away
from them. Hence, the fight
between good and evil ever
since.

God asked what they did in order to get them to confess and thus, realize that they had sinned (they being Adam and Eve and Cain). He was looking for a confession and repentance. Adam and Eve did repent but Cain didn't. Anyway, to answer your question about why He created the tree of knowledge of good and evil, I would simply say that God doesn't think the way you do. That shouldn't surprise anyone with half a brain, that God thinks differently than we do.

It is not 'alledgedly', He does know all things, a lot better than we will understand in the here and now.

He had "hope" that they would NOT fall into temptation.
There was still a chance that they would accept His Ways, His Laws, His Words of instructions; instead of denying Him and sinning.

To make sure Cain is held ACCOUNTABLE for his actions - to find out if Cain will ADMIT he is a sinner.

disobedience was the first sin. God could make us all serve Him, but the wonderful thing he did was give us freewill. we choose we make the choices. So to blame God for your bad choices is your fault. Funny thing God does a wonderful thing for us by paying the penalty of sin that we deserved. For God so loved the world that he gave His only begotten Son so that whosoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16 and John 3:17 says For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. So because God gave us the ability to choose God is a monster? or that we shouldn't of been created because we are bad anyways? So God does all the work for us for salvation (a free gift) and all we have to do is accept it and Gods evil?

they didn't eat an apple. for all we know, it could have been a plum. the bible just says "fruit".

yes, God does know all...but we don't. therefore..we have the ability to change our outcomes by the choices we make.

who said God was surprised when Cain killed Abel? God wanted Cain to confess to the sin of killing his brother. Cain CHOSE to lie to God and therefore he had to deal with the consequences of his sin. Cain was filled with hate and jealousy. he wasn't a "psycho path".

"and if he gave us free will so he doesn't know the outcome then he isn't all knowing or all powerful"

LOL...what makes you think you know more than God if you don't understand the simple concept of the bible? the fact is YOU don't know, God does so therefore He is all knowing and all powerful...you're not. that's the whole point to free will...is for YOU to make your own outcome.

that is all approximately immune structures, I reckon. micro organism can out-evolve the hell out individuals greater animals, as a results of fact they have very speedy generations and conjugation - wherein they share plasmid DNA. this suggests that if a single bacterium evolves a thank you to defeat an immune equipment, it may unfold that ability to the completed colony in a count of an hour. this could and is observed in the lab. with out some mechanism which could save %. with bacterial evolution, animals could desire to be wiped out at any element. Adam and Eve were an experiment to see if they would follow blindly what God said.

Tha snake told them the truth about the tree of Knowledge, and they wouldn't die if they ate the fruit.

Just like a parent telling a child a lie to prevent them from going against the parent's wishes. but the child finds out the parent lied, and they go against the parent's wishes anyway.

The story of Adam and Eve, and other stories in the book of Genesis, are fictional stories picked up by Jewish writers after the exile. What is important in the story is the theological message: God created everything.

No, you don't understand...Of course God knew what would happen, but he wanted Adam and Eve and the human race to understand, why they needed a Savior....he wants us to love him, because we want to, and to realize that we can't make it without him...that is why we have free will...Those who realize they need him, will be saved,,,those who don't and try to lean on their own understanding,,,will be lost.

“And God saw that the wickedness of man was great upon the earth, and that all of the impulses of the thoughts of his heart were only evil continuously.” ...
