Oy oy oy. So many wrong answers!
If you gave your boyfriend permission to drive your vehicle, he's a permissible driver and therefore has protection. Your policy will definitely cover what he's done, provided that you have comprehensive & collision.
As for rates increasing? ABSOLUTELY NOT. When that claim is filed, he will be put down as the driver in the accident. The only person in an accident that experiences a rate increase is the driver and since you weren't that driver and he was, your rates won't increase one bit. It would be illegal for them to punish YOU for something someone else did.
Now, if this is one of those situations where he is living with you and that's why you let him use your vehicle, the only problem you'll have with this is that they'll want you to put him down as a driver. Him with at least one accident? That will raise your rate. If he's not in your household, though, your rates aren't going to change ONE BIT. :)
Best of luck!

I don't know where Miss Meli works but in the 44 years I have been driving and insured by State Farm, none of the things she claims are true. Maybe, if he was over 25 and you have full coverage insurance, but thats all. I am covered in any car I drive but no one under 25 can drive my vehicles. The only thing that can change this is a member of my immediate family that I include (and pay extra for) on my policy. You have two choices. either he pays for your car and you don't claim it or you call and get the correct info as to what your policy covers. Good luck.

Yes more than likely they will be raised. Another factor that goes in play though is who is at fault too. I was driving my girlfriends car it was insured by state farm. I got in a wreck it was deemed me at fault her rates went up about $75.00. She had state farm. They also asked her many questions lie how often do I drive her car do I have a key who is my insurance. Did I have permission to have the car. They were really nasty. Then ironically about a month later she was driving my car and wrecked it my rate went up over $100 dollars all she did was couldn't see a median on a dark intersection & hit it . Then my car was on my dads insurance policy and I am on it too. Geico my dads insurance sent him a letter saying take me off of his insurance or go find another coompany cause they will no longer cover him. Due to that last wreck.

If he was driving with your permission, he is covered on your policy. If the wreck was his fault, they will not compensate you unless you have collision coverage.
Yes, if your policy has to pay out for damages that have happened to someone else as a result of his actions, there is a very good chance your premiums will increase, or they could decide to not renew your policy.

You probably wont be covered for the damage, depending on your policy... most policies only cover accidents by people on the policy and yes your rates will be raised

If he has an twist of destiny in her motor vehicle, her coverage covers it. You insure the vehicle. A driver is purely assigned to the vehicle theychronic the main, yet once you enable a chumchronic your vehicle, and that they have got an twist of destiny, it is your coverage which will pay. of direction, you may wish the buddy a minimum of payed the deductible. To be secure, ask your agent besides.

Let him pay to have it fixed so you do not have to make a claim. Let him figure out how he is going to do it. If he is decent at all, he will fix it and save you the hassle! Good luck.
