To play the christians advocate...you have a point in stating the inplausablility of "original sin". Like if my father murdered someone and I went to jail for it. The punishment uponn a decendant based o the actions or inactions of an ancestor seem to be irrational and senseless.

Ok there is a difference between Biblical sin and Good. Sinners whatever if your an evil person you had every choice to act in such a way. Now if you are guilty of the ocassional yelling smoking drinking pissing off people your just like the rest of us. If you go around raping killing stealing beating then you have every right to end up in Prison and you had every choice to act in such away. I think your concentrating on religous dogma which holds nothing. Chances are your feeling guilt so your proabally not that bad of a person cause evil people feel no guilt. Guilt is a feeling telling us that we broke our ideals or let another down. I suggest if you are feeling in such a way you seek a psychologist not blabber on around Yahoo about sin your going to accomplish nothing here. Good Luck

I disagree.
According to the scriptures that some choose to skip around....
1Jo 3:8 HE THAT COMMITS SIN IS OF THE DEVIL; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of Yahweh was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
1Jo 3:9 Whosoever is born of Yahweh DOES NOT COMMIT SIT!!!!!!! for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of Yahweh.
1Jo 3:10 ¶ In this the children of Yahweh are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness (Duet 6:25) is not of Yahweh, neither he that loveth not his brother.
It is true that one does not have to be a servant of sin.
It is an individual choice. Choose wisely.
Peace.

You have the choice, either accept Christ or not!
How simple does this have to be? What do you want for free? You wanted a choice and no one took it from you, you have a choice.
OH now what if you didn't want to be a girl? What then? Are you going to get unhappy because you didn't have that choice afforded to you either? Some people are just never happy about anything!
So cry it out and when you regain your sanity, realize that you were not put in charge of the universe. You can't do a thing about it.

Eve took the forbidden fruit and that gave her the knowledge of good and evil. We know what we are doing is good or bad and from those choices comes sin.

No, that isn't any longer "honest" because of the fact the international sees it. yet, regrettably, all of us are born with a sin nature. i did no longer choose it the two,yet i'm nevertheless a sinner. real, a sinner saved by grace, yet a sinner in no way the less.

Adam and Eve's disobedience is like the captain Edward John Smith deciding to put the Titanic at full speed in dangerous waters. His free will decision put everyone in peril. Once the great ship hit the iceberg, it began a very slow passage into death. Yes, the world hit an iceberg and is slowly sinking into the abyss. Only this time, there is more than enough room to get into the Lifeboat that God has provided. Question is, are you going to sit on the deck and cry, "It wasn't my fault." or are you going to get in?

You now have the free will to decide whether to follow the example of Adam & Eve or to do whats right.
Nobody forces you daily actions.

So you're saying that you're not responsible for sinning? Yeh, see how that plays out on the judgment day.
