It's not that big a deal, unless of course you decide to act on these feelings. I at one point was attracted to my older cousin because honestly I think she looks hot. Nothing wrong there, I'm not about to ask her out or kiss her or anything, but we're not exactly close so how could I help that? Basically get over it, she's family and nothing is ever going to happen. It'll just take some time and you'll see her just as family. Don't feel weird, this happens to a lot of people, they're just afraid to voice it.

With guys, fantasies (even sexual fantasies!) about relatives are common. I suspect that almost every guy with a cute sister has at one time or another thought about f---ing her, especially in their teen years. As long as it's limited to fantasy, even including masturbation, I don't see anything wrong with it. Incest is still one of the last taboos for pretty good reason though. Lots of heavy baggage, some of it that can be carried around for life, goes with actual incest, especially when one party is a minor or there is any kind of coercion or force involved. Fantasy? No big deal in my most humble opinion!

There is no other way to really say it except toning down "ew you perv". You can be friends even great friends with a cousin no problem.
The problem is the fantasize part. You like her and are denying the fact that the feelings you have is incest.
Now, on the plus side, it's modern culture that forbids you to marry and like cousins.
Take a history lesson and it's perfectly normal.
I have no idea what to say beyond, this world sexually and culturally is completely screwed up.
Good luck, and don't do anything with her.

You two have a bonding going on. You like each other, enjoy each other, and are friends. I had that with a female cousin of mine. We had fun together and were best friends. Nothing wrong with that. We are now both in our mid '60s and still have it, are still best friends. We have been there for each other thru happy times and sad times. Our spouses enjoy each other too. We never got into fooling around when we were kids, but if we hadn't have been cousins, I sure could have gone for her. She felt the same. I suspect that you and your cousin would too. But the best part was that we could be together and have fun, and never have to break up because we weren't bf/gf. Cousins are forever. And you know those questions a boy always wants to ask about dating girls, or vice/versa, we had someone to ask. BTW, when I was ready to marry, it was to a woman much like my cousin.

She's apparently cute, cool and you are attracted to her. I had a few cousins like that. It's no big deal. Just have fun with them. Tell her you "think she's hott" just jokingly and see what she does. You'll both have a great laugh out of it.
Most girls can't handle something like this because they're all so weird about a guy, any guy liking them has to be like "a relationship" or something. Don't worry about those freaks.
So far Ritzuka is the only cool chick here who gets it.

well i think a lot of people had innocent crushes on cousins as small children. but when you're a little kid you don't understand what incest is or sexuality for that matter. it's ok if you appreciate and think highly of your cousin just like you would any other friend that you love. i've felt the way you do about friends before as far as wanting to spend all my time with them or "having them to myselves" but having an obsession with your cousin is unhealthy. you should see a counselor.

In all honesty, your heart doesn't know when something is wrong (like having romantic feelings for your cousin, or any family member). It's society that dictates right or wrong, and so your brain is always trying to keep your heart in check.
She is a girl, and you seem to have a lot in common with her. So your heart is telling you one thing. It's only natural. Now, it's up to you and your brain to decide what the right course of action is. And remember, she will always be your cousin, and be a part of your life. Make sure you don't mess that up.

Sometimes these things happen, once I had a crush on my cuz, I was 16(girl) and he was 20, it was the first time I met him and I thought he was so fine!!, he hung out with me and it was great, and I got jealous when other girls wanted to talk to him, but I had to face the hard real truth that this is my blood relative and it was just a crush of a teenager, and it pass, you have to realize the same and separate your feelings.

In all honesty, although you randomly pointed out that there's no incest involved, your feelings are incestual. I think what you're REALLY feeling here is that you love this particular cousin so much and care for her in such a way, that you want to show your affection. Do it in a more friendly way though, lol. Show your affection in platonic ways. In this case, I think it's perfectly alright for you hang out with her. Lots of people hang out with their cousins. Because they love em and they have fun with them. But, definitely not for romantic reasons. If you still fantasize about her, tell yourself that there are no states in the U.S. that allow relatives to marry and you will be put to shame forever. haha. Hopefully that'll get you to stop thinking of her in that way.
Hope this helps.
Don't worry, I dont think you're a perv.

This is definitely a tough question to anwser. But I will try my best to help. It honestly sounds like you have a very special relationship with her. I might even go on a limb and say it sounds like a crush. But don't get me wrong, you may think thats wrong and sick. Just be true to your feelings, you can't help the way you feel. I wish you luck. Take care sweety...hope I was helpful ^^
