It would have no effect upon those who understand the resurrection in a non-literal way.
It could only have an effect on the beliefs of those who understand the resurrection to be a physical and literal bodily resurrection.

Well there is NO possible way to prove that. Secondly even if they didnt who cares, it was all about the message of Jesus not if his body floated to heaven.

No one can prove Jesus is in the grave, because He overcame the grave & raised from the dead.

The problem with proof today is that with our wonderful technology, it's easier than ever to commit fraud.
All it takes to change history is for someone to claim they have "historical proof" and everyone buys into it and all of a sudden people will believe anything that gets enough exposure.
So, I am extremely skeptical of any proof that shows that Jesus is in that tomb.

Based upon religion today, this "proof" would be bombarded with question after question, insult after insult, but it would be an interesting read. after the bombardion, they migtht find dirt to discredit the scientist or the tampering with the site itself.

It wouldn't matter, because the proof would not be accepted.
