Im making chicken and couscous and plan to fry the chicken legs. Do i just dip it in the flour with all the excess marinade or what???The marinade is a store bought garlic and herb.

I think i'll just bake it or something else, lol.....I almost never marinade and im not very familar with it just wanted to highten the tatse of my chicken this time...thanks for all the answers.

Usually, you don't marinade something that you plan to fry. You season your flour or cornstarch with spices if you plan to fry. You marinade when you bake, broil, or grill. First time for everything, though.

No don't rinse, you will loose a lot of flavor. Let some of the marinade drip off.

Leave the marinade on it will assist in holding on the flour or act as "glue" for the breading.

Leave it on if you want it full of flavor, if you want to rinse it off and just have a hint of flavor that is fine too.

Leave it on, it will add flavor. You could heat up the remainder and make a sauce (heat it really well to cook the raw poultry out)
