There are many many misconceptions about Muslims and Islam on the web. I have heard some christians say that Jesus called Muhammad a liar or false prophet. when there is NO Documentations of such saying from Jessus. As a matter of fact Muslims consider Jesus a True Messiah who will return back to this world and establish the rule of Justice all over this planet.

Do you agree that Jesus will return to the Earth and that he is the True messiah who will once and for all establish the word of God upon mankind?

Messiah does NOT imply "son of god" or "god". There is NO proff that Jesus declared himself as eitehr "god" or "son of god". Bible does mention coming of Muhammad (the next prophet in line of 120,000 True prophets). Yes Muslims do beleive that it will Jesus (son f Mary and True prophet of God) who will return to earth as establish True Kingdom of God. We compelete believe in his True Teachings. However reject any lies that anyone attributes to Jesus. Such as putting him equal to God. Which is a outrageous lie against God and lie against Jesus (True prophet of One God)

Quran ( 19:23-35 )
At length she (Mary) brought the baby (jesus) to her people, carrying him (in her arms). They said: "O Mary! truly an amazing thing hast thou brought!
"O sister of Aaron! Thy father was not a man of evil, nor thy mother a woman unchaste!"
But she pointed to the babe. They said: "How can we talk to one who is a child in the cradle?"
He (Babby Jesus) said: "I am indeed a servant of Allah: He hath given me revelation and made me a prophet; {one of the miracles of Jesus was he spoke in his very infancy}
"And He (God) hath made me (Jesus) blessed wheresoever I be, and hath enjoined on me Prayer and Charity as long as I live;...."So peace is on me the day I was born, the day that I die, and the day that I shall be raised up to life (again)"!
Such (was) Jesus the son of Mary: (it is) a statement of truth.
It is not befitting to (the majesty of) Allah that He should beget a son. Glory be to Him! when He determines a matter, He only says to it, "Be", and it is.

Quran (9:30)
And the Jews say: Uzair is the son of Allah; and the Christians say: The Messiah is the son of Allah; these are the words of their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved before (them)......

Quran ( 5:75-77)

The Messiah, son of Mariam (Jesus) is but a messenger; messengers before him have indeed passed away; and his mother was a truthful woman; they both used to eat food. See how We make the communications clear to them, then behold, how they are turned away.
"Will ye worship, besides Allah, something which hath no power either to harm or benefit you? But Allah,- He it is that heareth and knoweth all things."
Say: "O people of the Book! exceed not in your religion the bounds (of what is proper), trespassing beyond the truth, nor follow the vain desires of people who went wrong in times gone by,- who misled many, and strayed (themselves) from the even way.

Hey I'm a Muslim.

One cannot be a Muslim if he/she doesn't believe in Jesus Christ (peace be upon him)! Muslims believe Jesus Christ (peace be upon him) was one of the mightiest messengers of One Almighty God. Muslims believe in the second coming of Jesus Christ (peace be upon him)! However, we believe that he will come back as a Muslim. Actually, Muslims believe that Jesus Christ (peace be upon him) was always a Muslim, people changed his teachings. Also, Muslims believe that he is not going to bring a new religion or a new book. He is going to testify that he never claimed divinity and he was never killed. Muslims believe that he was raised up and not crucified. Other major reason Jesus Christ (peace be upon him) is coming back is to die a natural death because one cannot go to Heaven and still be living. Another major reason Jesus Christ's (peace be upon him) coming is to kill the Dajal. The Dajal is another big topic, which I can spend days on talking about. If you want to know more about Jesus Christ (peace be upon him) in Islam, you can email me.

Thank you for your time.

I agree with the Rev. you should also know that Allah is NOT the same god as our God. Allah is a moon and star god. And he's also a rock that Muhammad found in the dessert.

The Qur'an is NOT a book of peace. It is a book of death.

If you have Direct TV, find TCT and watch "Spiritual Warfare" with Rabbi Moshe Laurie. He's a Jewish Christian, who's show comes on at 9:30 am ET and 4:30 pm ET. You will learn the complete truth about Islam.

And yes, Jesus is the true Messiah. Read your Bible. If you don't have one and you've never read it because it maybe makes you feel overwhelmed due to it's size. Then get the King James Study Bible. It's wonderful, for at the bottom of each page is an explanation of what you've just read.

God Bless.

Thanks for asking. There is only one version of the Quran. Yes he is called the messiah Jesus son of Mary in the Quran. Yes he will return to earth and defeat the anti-christ. He will lead all muslims and christians who become muslims when they recognize him. The Mahdi is a great leader that will appear before Jesus, but his status is not that of a prophet like Jesus. The intercession in Islam is on the day of judgment and how it happens is that prophet Muhammad asks God for forgiveness to muslims. God will consider prophet Muhammad request when he makes his judgment. I don't know if this can be called intercession. Jesus and Muhammad are prophets and are only servants to God. We love them both and we are asked in the Quran not to differentiate among prophets. Prophet Muhammad has higher status than other prophets due to him being the last messenger of God who completed the religion that God intended to last on earth till judgment day. Information about Mahdi are not in the Quran but in Hadith of prophet Muhammad PBUH. Hadith sources are different between different sects in Islam. Edit: Just to clarify, Jesus status is higher than Mahdi. There are so many hadiths from muhammad PBUH that talk about Mahdi and Qiyama.

Jesus was on the Earth 610 years before Muhammed lived.

Jesus simple said there would be many false prophets. Christians conclude that since Muhammed denies the devinity of Christ this makes Muhammed false.

Muslims do not accept that Jesus was the Son of God or that He died for the sin of all mankind.

I agree that Jesus is the Son of God. He was more than a Prophet. He is God.

Islam is wrong on this point.

A difference of opinion or discrepencies on fact are MORE than misconceptions...they are fundamental differences.

Islam cannot say they have the same Jesus but deny the nature of Jesus.

No, Jesus never specifically mentioned Islam.
Islamic religion, nor Mohammed existed in Jesus' day.
The proof are in Mohammed's own words. He states that he read/studied The Holy Bible before Mohammed created Islamic/Muslims religion. Mohammed took the teaching of the false prophets/worshipers of Baal, their chief moon god, to become Allah of the Islamic political agenda & secondly as a religion. Mohammed took piecemeal excerpts of The Holy Bible & incorporated it into The Qu'ran in an attempt to give His personally created beliefs teachings validity.

Almighty God, the God of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob is the ONLY God. Jesus Christ, God's ONLY begotten Son, is the ONE and ONLY Messiah. And just as Mohammed read Revelation, Thessalonians, Ezekiel, Daniel, & Isaiah in The Holy Bible, any who reads these books of the Holy Bible will know that Jesus Christ will return to Earth and set up His Kingdom in Jerusalem, the land that Almighty God gave the Jewish people thousands of years ago.

The Bible does NOT mentioned Muhammed. Unless you're talking about the Comforter Jesus said He would send. That's not Muhammed, that's the Holy Spirit. Jesus warned of false prophets. Anyone who rearranges scripture is a false prophet. Muhammed rearranged scripture. Muhammed is a false prophet. Not only did Jesus not mention Muhammed, neither did anyone else in the Bible.

Yes, I know that. Unfortunately, not all Muslims know that Jesus is the True Messiah.

Jesus never mentioned Muhammad, but he spoke of a person who will claim to be a prophet, and many will be his followers. The question is, was Jesus speaking of Muhammad, or of another person who will be the false prophet! question that we never find out.

You are correct that Jesus never called Muhammad a liar or a false prophet. The Bible does not mention Muhammad at all.

But the bible does tell us how we can recognize a false prophet. We can recognize a false prophet by the fact that if they claim to be speaking for God, and they predict something... if it doesn't come true, they are a false prophet and we do not have to listen to them at all.

However Muhammad did make false prophecies - he predicted things that did not come true. That is one way that I know that I do not have to listen to anything that he says.
