what can i do to a basic ponytail to "spice it up"?

i have to wear my hair in a ponytail for this church thing i have tomorrow, but i don't just want a plain boring ponytail...!

ok so first pull your bangs up on top of your head so it makes a bump.
then pull your hair into a ponytail and after it is up take a pencil thin piece from it and wrap it around the elastic so it isnt showing
then secure it with a bobby pin
then get rid of some flyaways by spraying your hand with hairspray then patting down the flyaways

but it doesnt have a bump.

You can add a touch of sophistication to your ponytail by wearing it low, wrapping a section of your hair around the elastic and securing it with a pin.
Hair bands are in this season. Plain thin ones are very classic. Or you can use a scarf for a retro '60s look. Wear one w/ a low ponytail. Conceal the elastic by wrapping a wide section of hair around it & securing it w/ a bobby pin to make the updo more sophisticated & finished.
Make a ponytail that sits a bit high up. Section it into 3 & curl each section to make a loose curly bun.

Maybe you could add like a really cute headband or some colorful clips (I think there's some cool ones at Delia's!) to make an ordinary ponytail cute=]

well personaly i dont like to put on ponytails but sometimes they just look really cute do wat i do is but on a little bow the color w/ my outfit or sometimes i make a bun and were big earings hop i helped!!
