No matter what religion you belong to, what are your personal views of Atheists? Do you look down on them, distrust them, care less, or maybe it depends on the person? Just wondering!

I didn't mean to give "options", was just trying to give examples of what I was asking. I'm hoping that there are plenty of positive responses though!

It depends on the person. I have met some, online and offline, that are great people and I love talking with them. Others I don't particularly care for due to how they handle certain situations (mainly a very few online... I haven't met one offline that act the way I've seen those few act here - so I'm inclined to think that they act that way only online and only to get a cheap thrill by ticking off as many "Theists" as they possibly can lol) I don't look down on anyone based on their personal views of religion. I respect everyone's right to believe as they want... but in the same sense, I expect that same respect. If it's not given, I just don't waste my time on that particular person (no matter what their beliefs are).

I enjoy discussing various issues with them. I do not fear their edicts, I have love and respect for them and I find many of them to be quite intelligent. I am open to engaging them in their objections. My dearest hope is that they come to find the Truth in Christ. For some, that would be quite a blatant thing to say, that there is absolute Truth in Christ...but I cannot but express how dearly I believe this to be so.

I worry about them. I pray that sometime in their lives they will realize the Truth and seek God's forgiveness. I love them even though I don't know them personally. But, God's love for them is so much greater than mine. His love for each of us is unimaginable. He gave His only Son for each of us because He loves us so much.

I see many of them as hypocrites because they believe that they should have the freedom to share and do all of their beliefs any place they want, yet they think people of faith should not be able to share nor do their beliefs were they want to.
