5,000 is a normal low, 10,000 a normal high. Anything below or above that should be investigated. However, there are other factors which would determine a possible infection or problem. If in doubt about a symptom, see a doctor.

4000-11.000 is normal..
but, 4500 or 10.900 can be a sign of 'something' in our body...
I mean, 10.900 can show a process of illness by the time (increasing).. n 4500 can also(decreasing)..
that's a standart.
