how do i know if it's virus, bacteria, or allery eye infection?

antibiotic drops didnt work what should i try now? are there like allergy eye drops or something?

If you used antibiotic eye drops you must have, or should have, gotten them from the doctor. If they did not do the job, you should go back to him ASAP. Your eyes are too important to mess around with.

I have always used the Similisan Eye drops on my kids. They have drops for pink eye, styes in the eye and I think for allergies as well. The drops aren't cheap though, but they have always worked. When my son's eye gets red and puffy and gunky (and looks like pink eye), I put two drops in his eye when he wakes up and then another 2 drops at bed time, it usually clears it up in a day or so. If you have already tried antibiotics you should go back to your doc and see what he thinks it could be. Good luck to you.
