Did they fly in, and if so, did the animals have their own pilots' licenses, or did they break the law?

Hee hee...I love it when people debunk the fairy tale known as the "Bible". Kudos!

It may well be worth some effort researching the question. There is a growing group of archaeologists that are leaning toward the "Pangea" concept.

In quick answer, I hardly think they "Flew in"...

Based upon world wide historical accounts in many old cultures, remote native Indian tribes of the world, the stories of a great flood have been passed down. Many old elders of these peoples have reported stories passed from one generation to another. When compared, they give crediance to the possibility they were refering to the same historical account. There is a site in the inter-net which dwells considerably into the "Great Flood" account. Look for a site under the name of Bob Gentry, and Halos.

In some quarters the idea that at one time all the continents were connected into what was previously mentioned, "Pangea". It has been proposed when the "fountains of the deep" were opened in Biblical accounts the land mass named Pangea, broke apart. The crustal top layers of the earths dry land shell drifted apart. A great deal of effort has been expended in studying how the land masses were connected together at one time.

Suggestion is that the land masses were all one prior to the time of Noah. If that is a fact it would explain why and how all of the animals were able to gather to the loading point of the Ark. Fish or other types of marine life would not have needed to be gathered on board the Ark.

Further as the land masses would have been broken and the water / tidal action could very well have helped to displace great quanties of solid rock mass. In the Bob Gentry report, there is further a suggestion as to how and why the Grand Canyon was formed.

Noah did not gather the animals. They came to him.

Genesis 7
8 Pairs of clean and unclean animals, of birds and of all creatures that move along the ground, 9 male and female, came to Noah and entered the ark, as God had commanded

How did the people and animals on board this mythical ark manage to breath water. If the earth were 100% covered with water, the humidity in the atmosphere would make it impossible to breath.

It must really, really stink for the Christians how basic science constantly blows holes in their sacred text. Of course, they just default to "god made it possible" which begs the question, "then why didn't god just turn the atmosphere to fire, and fireproof Noah, his family, and two of every animal?"

At that time there were land bridges between continents, so the animals drew lots and those that got the winning gum leaves (back then i think it was more likely acacia) made their long journey to Hotel de Ark. They carried their swags and billy, and enough food for the trip.
I hope this is of help.

Genesis 10:25 states, and I Chronicles 1:19 repeats, “And two sons were born to Eber; the name of the one was Peleg, for in his days the earth was divided.” Peleg lived a few centuries after the flood. Little else is known about him.

I don't believe you were there when Noah built the ark. I have to ask you though do you believe in Jesus Christ. Do you believe you will go to heaven when you die? If you died tonight where would you go Heaven or Hell. If you would like too you can make a decision right now that will affect the rest of your life, You can decide to go to Heaven right now if you are willing to say this simple Prayer with me. Its the most important decision you will ever make. Pray this Prayer with me right now, Dear Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and I confess and repent of all my sins right now. I believe that you came to earth to die on a cross to be a perfect sacrifice for my sins, I believe that you rose from the grave the third day, I ask you right now to come into my heart and save me and make me a child of Jesus. In your Precious name I Pray Amen.... If you Prayed this prayer with sincere heart Jesus came and sent his Holy Spirit into your heart and saved you. You are now a child of God and you are going to Heaven. Praise the Lord... Now find a Church, read your Bible, seek to walk as close to Jesus as you can, good luck and GOD BLESS!!!

Who said the continents were separated? Doesn't science say that happened millions of years ago?

Do you honestly expect an answer other than "we don't know?"
How could anyone know that?
