WHAT in the world could Yahoo's censors have been thinking when they did this, in this group?! Are they solidly in Bush's back pocket? Does freedom of speech and fairness mean NOTHING to those people? Are they LOSING it?!? My question simply asked THIS --
Bush, whose most notable military service consisted of being AWOL, goes to Iraq to COACH Gen. Patreaus. Par for the course?
Why does this not surprise those of us who deplore our unwitting complicity in the MURDER of over 100,000 innocent Iraqis, and nearly 4,000 of our troops slaughtered as cannon fodder in our Warmonger-in-Thief's dishonest, undeclared, and illegal "war?"

Isn't this par for the course? There can be no doubt that Bosh stopped over in Iraq today to put face-to-face PRESSURE on General P., who is his subordinate in the chain of command, and thus must follow Bush's orders. I'd bet good money that when the general gives his report next week, it'll "surprisingly" be just what the doct... er, warmonger... ordered! Suddenly, we will **seem** to be making progress in this war... that we ultimately (and very deservedly!) will LOSE. **BIG-time**!
This troop PLUNGE has been a FARCE. And has succeeded only in getting MORE Iraqis and troops slaughtered -- for NOTHING! A total WASTE.
Mark my words, above -- who thinks I'll be shown correct in my assessment of what the general soon will tell us?

Here's how Yahoo Answers works: anybody can make any complaint about any question and it will be struck. There appear to be live staff who handle appeals of violation notices, as I've received emails with spelling errors in them, but their answer is always the same: read the Community Guidelines and the Terms of Service. No investigation of the merits of any complaints is made. There is no liberal or conservative bias on Yahoo Answers, they simply cover their αsses by removing the question.
The fact that there are many people on Yahoo Answers who are incapable of debating things and who feel threatened by any idea that doesn't match their "talking points" made me stop contributing to this forum in any serious way and start to become a troll.

It doesn't matter what your political beliefs are. Personally, I'm anti-Iraq War and I think George Bush is a twit.
Chances are, people just picked up on the fact you're going around asking biased 'questions'. You don't really ask Questions so much as state an opinion with a question mark on the end.
Yahoo Answers isn't a soap box or political opinion bulletin board, it's a place where people ask questions because they genuinely need answers for them, and not the type of answers they expect and want to read.
Once again, I agree. But what you asked isn't even a real question. Read the Community Guidelines and return when you have a genuine question to ask - not because you want to spread your opinions, not because you want to find people who agree with you, but because you don't know the answer and want someone to share it with you.

Your statement:
"This troop PLUNGE has been a FARCE. And has succeeded only in getting MORE Iraqis and troops slaughtered -- for NOTHING! A total WASTE."
is based on what; your personal experience? Prevaricative nonsense with a question mark at the end of the sentence does not necessarily mean you've asked a question. It usually means you've made a statement and used an incorrect punctuation mark at the end of your sentence.

The questions of mine that have been deleted and the answers I've given that have gotten violations have been amazing - not rants, simple questions with links to back up assertions. I assume that Yahoo does not actually check anything - if enough neo cons write to them about the truth being shown in a particular question, they'll pull them.

Um hello? Get with the picture. The surge is nothing more than a build up of troops in preparation for the soon to be war with Iran. The British have realigned their troops and given control of the majority of the south to the Iraqi forces in order to now concentrate on Iran. Won't be long now I think maybe the beginning of next year January Febuary time we will here news of an allout attack on Iran. You see the control of the middle east is what the whole deal was all about. And for their plan to be complete Iran must fall. Surely you realise this? I mean do you think that George Bush puts Iran on the list of countries most needing to be dealt with because he wants to be friends with them? Iran is the most important part of the plan. With Iran gone their is no challenge to their power. The middle east and all it's lovely lifeblood of the world will be firmly under the control of the one and only superpower of the world. It really is so simple to see what is happening here. Those who believe that there will be no war with Iran need to wake up. Afganistan and Iraq border Iran. Perfect strategic move on part of the US. They now can attack from 3 sides. From both the east and west of Iran and from the south by sea. Iran will be attacked you can take that to the bank. Ha ha the people who give me thumbs down for this answer need to get with the program.

Come on. You know as well as I do the community guidelines frown upon having opinions of any kind. It has been my experience that they're particularly fussy about opinions that aren't their own or that may offend some of their more...traditional...members.

I've got news for you.
The President doesn't need to show up to put any pressure on his military people. Military folks put pressure on themselves to carry out their missions.
You have no entitlement to freedom of speech here. If you think you do you are confused about your rights. Given the rest of your post I'd say that's probable.
I agree that 4:100 US deaths to Iraqi deaths is deplorable. If we have to be there, and we do, I'd rather see it closer 4:1000.

All Americans should be required by law to travel outside America. Then there'd be a whole lot less of these censorship shenanigans and you people might elect not re-elect a clown like W.
