find daily calorie intake calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours - it optimizes your metabolism)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have protein (lean meat, legumes etc) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio is the only fat burning exercise and burns fat all over your body (running, jogging, swimming, spinning, elliptical etc) 4-6 times a week for 30-50min (ideally 45min because the first 20-30min body burns carbs and only then starts burning fat), weight training a few days a week but never work on the same muscle group two days in a row (more muscle=faster metabolism)
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, pasta etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

I could think of a million things to say here.

The first thing is that 'you really gotta wanna'.

The only way you'll lose weight is if you first 1) want to, 2) believe you can, and 3) really need to.

Always remember that moderation is key. Nothing in excess is good for you.

There are also things you need to know about the food you eat. There are healthy ways to eat right and unhealthy ways to eat wrong.

There are a bunch of tips on my website, that are free to read. Please feel free to read them in your leisure.

Weight loss is about lifestyle. When you try quick fixes, you may lose the weight initially, but be more prone to gain it back, and then some, later. Do it the right way the first time and you won't have to repeat the process later. You never want to send your body into the survival mode by too much restriction though. Your body just holds onto your fat even more and you slow down your metabolism. If you eat several small meals a day, you are much better off and will speed up your metabolism. Right now, I am on a raw food cleansing diet just to lose a few pounds. It sucks for a few days, but then your body adjusts to it. Juicing is also a good idea if you can tolerate it. There are so many ways to lose weight. You've gotta figure out which one works best for you. This ensures that when you lose the weight, it will stay off of you.

I had a good time losing 31 lbs and now again maintaining my weight.

Try low carb, low fat, high fibre, high protein, and exercise. The foods are low caloried, and yet filling and healthy. Brisk walking is great for burning body fats.

It is my lifestyle now. I am on low carb, low fat, high fibre, high protein and a hour brisk walk 5 times a week, and I have lost 31lbs/14kg and gained better health. I am now maintaining my 108lbs/49kg for more than a year, with more fruits and complex carbs.

Stop counting you re not going to be lose weight overnight Just concentrate on diet and exercise

my husband bought a bike and rides trails for an hour near our home 3 times a week. he has lost 12 lbs in 4 wks. the hills have butt his butt look amazing. plus, it is even started to shrink his love handles.
