Bigotry worked for 6 days creating religion, and then rested... while on the 7th day, religion created bigotry. It all makes sense... just don't worry about it and have faith.

if it wasnt for " I am right and you are wrong " ... there would be no religion , no differences in beliefs
everyone would just believe the same thing without labelling it as a religion

so bigotry surely came first

Bigotry, easily. Religion just allows some people to think their bigotry is legitimized.

Interesting question.
I'll have to go with the majority who say Bigotry came first and it probably stemmed for simple tribalism - my tribe is better than your tribe for any number or real or perceived reason.

If we didn't have religions, we wouldn't have so many labels. With fewer labels, we might have to talk to each other to find out what the reality of a person is.
