i just bought a new cotton candy machine !! can i use regular sugar in it or do i have to buy floss sugar / what is the differance ?

Sugar floss is more finely ground than regular sugar and will spin out into the long strands of cotton candy. It costs a little more, but produces a better product. For your own satisfaction, try making some cotton candy with regular sugar and you will see the difference.

We call it castor sugar which is finer than regular white.

I think the advantage is you don't have to mix it in a bucket.
