Just burn off more calories than you consume. Plateaus are normal, but if you stick with it, mb cut some more calories, or add more exercise, you will begin to lose again. Good luck!!

Weight that is lost "fast" tends to come back- almost as quickly. Here are a couple of "tips" to help you out; #1. Eat ONLY when you're hungary- NOT when you're tempted. How many times have you LOOKED at some food item & thought to yourself, "Boy- THAT looks good!" Don't let those "good looks" seduce you into eating something- when 10 seconds earlier- you weren't hungary! Eat because you HAVE TO- NOT because it's "there" or others are doing it. #2. Drink at least 2 10 oz. glasses of Ice Water EVERY DAY. Your body burns Calories to keep itself at 98.6 Degrees. You'll burn an extra 120 calories- a day EVERY DAY- you drink that Ice Water. If you do the Math, that means you'll LOSE an extra Pound a Month, & 12 Pounds a Year- Simply by drinking a couple of glasses of Ice water every day! And finally #3. Keep up with the exercising... Food that's allowed to SIT in your stomach- ends up "sticking to your ribs". Exercising "keeps it moving" & burns it up. Working out needs to be a part of your "Lifestyle Change..." You can lose that weight for GOOD- if you put food in its "place"- NOT at the "Center of your Universe". ... Good luck! :)

apparently, no. the fastest you should lose per week is 2lb to ensure you don't gain all that weight back even faster.
the whole calorie intake business is an old measurement so i don't recommend you follow that. just eat proper healthy. seriously, fruit, veg, fish and some good carbs like rice is all you need to lose it. ok, here's my diet and activity level. i lost 10lb in 1month and didn't exercise for 1month cause went on holiday. ate loads abroad too. thought i gained loads back on but didn't gain a single 1lb :)
breaky - branflakes/oats (never skip!)
2hours snack later - a kiwi
lunch - raw salmon with bowl of rice and kiwi
2hours snack later - yet again, another kiwi
2hours later - guess...
dinner time - rice with stirred fried mix veg (choose any as long as it is a veg!!!). only meat allowed is turkey breast (healthier than chicken).
eat that every single day and run 20-30mins per day, 5-7 times per week.
guarantee success. the key is not being hungry ever and eating small meals regularly to speed the metabolism.

1000 calories is probably a little low. The combination of exercise and the correct amount of food (types of foods like protein, carbs and fat are not all the same) will help you get the results you want.
