I know I stocked up on food for when school started, but I just realized I have a whole bunch of unhealthy food like hot pockets & chicken pot pies & stuff. I'm trying to lose weight. I know it's a waste of money. I didn't think about the idea until AFTER I bought everything because all I was thinking was to have QUICK food to eat when coming home from school. I know it would be a waste of money. I bought lots of fruits & veggies for a change, too. & lately, I've been bingeing on junk food, like Doritos, Snickers, cookies, & Sprites since I did my 1st week of exercise & felt discouraged & depressed because I would get tired easily. I'd rather donate my food to someone who's needy, rather than throwing it in the garbage & wasting all that money. I think I just need to work harder at exercising, eating right, & drinking lots of water.

What should I do with this unhealthy food? I figure that if it wasn't in my house, it wouldn't be here for me to eat. I wanna focus on eating healthy.

That is a great idea. It is harder to resist the food when it is in your house already.

I am trying to eat healthier too. I just bought a bunch of "good stuff." I have a roommate though so there is still some unhealthy food here.

Good luck to both of us as we eat our way to better health.

That's exactly what i did!!!
I just threw out all my unhealthy food (except donated the nonperishables) and replaced it like a couple weeks ago. I know its a huge waste but you only have to do it once, and it's worth it. I don't even crave junk anymore. No kidding. Very good idea. Worked for me!! Good luck!

Look up food bank or soup kitchen in your local phone book, or online. You should be able to bring just about anything there. Good luck and good thinking for wanting to give it away to a good cause.

I think it would be good to give it away. Good luck on your diet.
