I want to get orange ribbon to trim my wedding cake (the baker asked for 1"), but I have been looking for the past 3 days for 1" ribbon and can't find any anywhere!! I swear, I see 5/8", 7/8" and even 1 1/2"...but I can't find 1" to save my life! I've been to 8 different stores in 2 different towns!

Am I just crazy, or do they really not make 1" ribbon?

I don't know if you have a Michaels or Hobby Lobby near you. I know Hobby Lobby has 1" ribbon and last week it was all on sale. Michael's has some too, but it depends on which one you go to.

I looked online and I am also having trouble finding 1", I see 1 3/8 and 1 1/4, you may want to ask her if either 7/8 or 1 3/8 is OK.

I had ribbon around my wedding cake and I used 2" ribbon. If you still haven't found the 1" I would definitely suggest using 1 1/2", the others are way to small.

AC Moore has the best selection of ribbons. I went on their website but they dont show ribbons, but I know they have it I just used some with wire in the edge for my fall wreath on my front door.

Talk to your baker. I would think 7/8" would be fine if you could not find 1". An eight of an inch is not that much.
