So here it it : I had been drafted to go to war in Iraq. All of my friends were drafted as well, and about 5 of them where in my squad. We where stationed in a "not to nice" part of Baghdad and I was called out to search for bomb near a store. It was about 8 'o clock, so i wanted to get it over with. I went and searched all around and even in the store and found nothing. Then i overheard somebody say a bomb was under the store. i walked down the steps and opened the only door. I turned on the lights and started shouting, when i realized i was in the living room/kitchen of a small apartment. I told the residents i was looking for a bomb and they let me search the house. Nothing. I went back to the base and started to write a letter home, but didnt finish. I fell asleep. Then next day my squad and I where patrolling a street when we came under attack from all around us. We where given the orders to take cover. in a nearby building.I could only think I would never finish the letter home..

This is simple. It is very easy to understand that this war is endless and may someday affect you and your friends.
You wanted to get the bad stuff of finding bombs out of the way so you can write a letter home and be safe. But you could find no safe haven.
That is a real picture of war and your reaction to it. Do something for peace today! And pray all our soldiers come home soon and safe.

hm...well, as far as I know, we don't currently have a draft, but that doesn't mean that they won't start drafting if this war continues on for much longer, that is a very real possibility if they run out of recruits, and national reserve. The war in iraq is on the news every night, and it is reasonable for you to have it in the back of your mind that you may one day be asked to go there, even if they have to send you there involuntarily. About all I can say to you is make sure that you say to everybody what you really want to say to them, make sure you let your family know how much you love them, war or no war, any given day could be your last, we all have unfinished business in this life, just do your best to be mindful of the things that really matter...good luck.....

Dude, that's pretty deep. All I know is that if I ever get drafted I'm moving to Canada! Do you know anybody in the war? I would think that a dream like that would mean that your scared for the troops and you want them to come home.

I'm no expert but in my own experience, it would mean I've forgotten to do something important and it might have consequences. Often dreams are al jumbled up, not necessarily in chronological order. Just a guess, but the rest is just stuff thats in the news etc filtering through.

Am I the only person in the world whose dreams are totally incoherent and non-sensical? This is just something you think about but push to the back of your mind. THere's not gonna be a draft, so just calm your ***** down.

It might mean you have unfinished buisiness to friends and family. That unfinished letter that remained unfinished before you died in your dream could mean you forgot to do something important or you didn't have enough time and you regret it now. It ould be family buisiness or friend buisiness. Good Luck!

Take those dreams completely serious, if anyone dies in them be extra cautious. I've had my friends lose her husband after having a weird dream. wow, i sound like a hippy or something. but its completely true.
