Go to allrecipes.com they have tons of recipes. I would make a few loaves of plum bread:

Spiced Plum Bread

INGREDIENTS:
1 egg
1/2 cup honey
2/3 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 cup peeled and chopped plums
1 cup chopped walnuts
DIRECTIONS:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
2. In a large bowl, blend the egg, honey, sugar, and vanilla. Mix in the flour, baking soda, cloves, and cinnamon. Fold in the plums and walnuts.
3. Transfer the batter to the prepared loaf pan, and bake 50 to 60 minutes in the preheated oven, until a toothpick inserted in the center of the loaf comes out clean.

Also some Plum Jam :

Cinnamon Plum Jam

INGREDIENTS:
7 cups sugar
5 cups coarsely ground peeled
plums
1/2 cup water
1/3 cup lemon juice
1 (1.75 ounce) package
powdered fruit pectin
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

DIRECTIONS:
1. In a large kettle, combine sugars, plums, water and lemon juice. Bring to a full rolling boil, stirring constantly. Stir in pectin; return to a full rolling boil. Boil 1 minute, stirring constantly. Remove from the heat; stir in cinnamon. Skim off foam. Pour hot jam into hot jars, leaving 1/4-in. headspace. Adjust caps. Process for 10 minutes in a boiling-water bath.

and some plum cake for the neighbors:

PLUM CAKE

INGREDIENTS:
3 eggs
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon lemon zest

1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 1/4 cups plums, pitted and
sliced
DIRECTIONS:
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease and flour one 9 inch tube pan.
2. Separate the eggs. In a small bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form, and set aside.
3. In a large bowl, cream the butter or margarine with the sugar. Beat in the egg yolks and the lemon zest.
4. Stir together the flour and baking powder and then beat the flour mixture into the creamed mixture. Gently fold in the egg whites. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan. There will only be a little over an inch of batter. Arrange the plums, skin side down, attractively over the batter.
5. Bake at 375 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 40 minutes or until cake tests done. Transfer to a cooling rack and allow to cool before serving. Makes 6 servings.

We have plum trees too - the prune plums. Don't let them rule you! What my Aunt and I do with all - hundreds - of the plums is to cut them in half, remove the seed and place them face down on a cookie sheet and place them in the freezer. Once they are frozen, we move them to a zip lock bag and put them back in the freezer for later use. Then you can do lots of things with them.

My Aunt makes a fruit salad and adds the frozen plum halves - chopped to her salad. They thaw by the time you are ready to eat and keep everything else cool.

She also makes and has shared with me, this recipe that is wonderful. The fruit comes up through the crust so it's not a layer of dough with fruit underneath.

PLUM COBBLER

Spray a 9x13" sheet cake pan or 9: square cake pan.

4-5 c plums - diced
1/2 tsp each cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice
3/4 c granulated sugar
1 cube butter
1/2 c milk
1 c flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 - 1 c granulated sugar*
1 T cornstarch
1 c boiling water

Sift together the flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside. Place the fruit in the cake pan. Sprinkle with the cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice. Cream together the 3/4 c sugar and butter. Add the milk. Blend the flour mixture into the sugar mixture. Spoon over the fruit. Combine the 3/4 - 1 c sugar and the 1 T cornstarch and sprinkle it over the batter. Take the 1 c boiling water and pour over all. Bake in a preheated 350º oven for 45 minutes or until golden.

* the amount of sugar sprinkled over the top can be less if your fruit is really sweet. This recipe works great for any kind of fruit.

Plum jam is the best! Our neighbor gave us the fruit from her two trees, and we made plum jam with it. It is sweet and tart at the same time. It lasts forever and is soo good.
