Sister, you need to find a new source for your information. You clearly have NO understanding of politics or current events. Have you ever been to Europe? The US could learn a great deal from Europe.
Why would the terrorist come over here and attack Americans, they are attacking them everyday in Iraq.

The US having fewer terrorist attacks is more to the fact of our geographical location than anything. And the only atheist "regimes" I can think of would be communism, which on paper was an ok idea I suppose, but didn't take human greed into account, and as such failed.
Now, regimes based on religion have done a bang up job. Just look at Iran.

I do agree that the Clinton administration ruined our international intelligence forces and we should have taken a much more aggressive approach against Al-Qaeda way before 9/11. Maybe if Bill didn't create so much trouble for himself we could have done that.
However, the problem with you statement is that you assume that a secular government won't work to stop radical, violent religious groups (of any kind). Europe let radical groups, mosques and clerics grow due to their fear of appearing racist or xenophobic and now they're paying for that strategy. A good secular government allows religious freedom but closely monitors any type of radical, possibly violent group and enforces laws to stop these groups from becoming dangerous.
Secular doesn't mean "blind to religious radicalism", just as a theocracy of any type (like Iran) doesn't ensure peace and freedom from radicalism.

Islamic terrorists are growing in Europe.
The "signs of the times" need to be understood.

actually atheism will never prevail in the states because christianity has a huge hold in our government.
and the most ironic part of it, is that the government is highly corrupt with greedy and powerhungry people...
my question is, since this is christian run country, why dont we have free healthcare for everyone?
wwjd?

You do know that there is a difference between atheism and secularism. I'd suggest catching up on political science and world religions.
Peace:)
