Painters' tape or masking tape.

You can get them in WalMart or Home Depot.

The tape you use to cover the base boards and the trim around your windows, doors is called painters tape. It's usually the color (University of Kentucky Blue). It peels very easily when you are finished painting. Always wait at least 24 hours before you remove the tape to deterr peeling from the walls. Hope this helps. Happy Painting.

Painter's tape. It's usually blue, and it's about the size of masking tape. Use it to attach a drop cloth to the top edge of the baseboard so that you cover the entire base board and the floor all at once.

Blue painters tape. You can pick it up at the paint store or any home improvement store in the paint section.

It doesn't have to be blue... But blue is way easier to see than the normal tan color... But the normal tan color is way cheaper... It all works the same.

But, for me -- maybe its the humidity or manufacturer? -- Blue tape seems to be hard to peel-off... The regular tan masking tape peels right off.
