the guy i like is really shy around me, is it ok if i make the first move and give him my number and/or ask him out? any hints on getting him to say yes?

Of course it's ok... if you wait around for guys to do the asking you may wait a long time (lots of guys are shy). Go for it! Just talk to him about something you have in common (? school?) and casually ask him if he'd like to do something together... I bet he'll say yes.

most guys will not turn down a girl!! and it's ok to make the first move! i mean i'm kinda suprised that this guy hasn't move on u yet. but some guys are shy and they need the girl to take them by the hand and teach them! so go for it and maybe he'll catch on sooner or later!

Make it low-pressure and easy. Even if he wants your number, he might not have the nerve to call you! Suggest meeting somewhere, or going someplace else together from wherever you usually meet. Better yet, figure out a way to ask for his help -- that way you'll have something to do, and not just sit there trying to think of things to say.

Ask him out. Be bold. Make a move especially if he's too shy to talk to you. He'll definately say yes.

If you want you can. if he is shy or mean to ya he likes you so follow my tips :
1.do the perfum walk, put on per fume walk neer his locker if he is there if not go where he is.
2. if he is still shy try to talk to him.my little sis is in middle school she likes this guy and he keeps trying to hook her up with one of his buddy.
3.if he talks to you try to flert:
1. trul your hair ONE STRAND OF HAIR.
2. try to easi your way to ask him out.
back to the other stuff.
3.if he looks at your chest he's into ya so eas your self were rely cool sherts like a tank top and a minnig skirt.
4. in clas if you have a class with him drob your pen or pencil.
5.keep your instink working!if he dont dont wory it will happen.
6. do some investigating does he like sports or any thing els!!!!!!

It's fine for you to make the first move as long as ya know he's into you! Go for it! My hints would be just be yolurself and don't fake who ya are cause it you he'll be dating not who u pretened to be!
