Without all the salt? I love it for the other flavors and would love to get a little heavier handed with it but it is so salty, if I did that, I would ruin my food. I looked up recipes to make it, and I could do that without adding as much salt to it, but there are quite a few items in such small amounts it hardly seems worth it.

Try some of the Mrs. Dash varieties.

They're salt-free, and there are different seasoning blends.

Here's a recipe to make your own seasoned salt that tastes a lot like Lawry's:

2 tablespoons salt
2 teaspoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon turmeric
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon cornstarch

Combine all ingredients in a small bowl and mix well. Pour the blend into an empty spice bottle to store.
