I give my kids Tylenol or Motrin, whatever I have for them, and then we curl up on the couch and watch a movie or read. I'll get them water as my daughter will throw up if she's dehydrated. For stomachache, I make them go to the bathroom first before I do anything else -- it's amazing how often that helps them feel better. If he keeps complaining, I'd make an appointment, but as a last resort, not as the first thing. Oh, did he start preschool recently? If something changed in his life, maybe he 's getting physically sick and he needs to talk about it.

Okay, you can be nice.
Anyway, my son has migraines. Somewhere around 80% of adult migraine sufferers had their first attack before the age of five.
That would explain the headache and the stomachache. If he seems sensitive to light or sound, or if he seems extremely sleepy, that could be what's going on with him. Kids with migraines typically don't respond to Tylenol or ibuprofen for headaches, and the only thing that brings relief is sleep, and usually they feel fine after that. If he vomits, and the headache seems to recede afterwards, that would be a characteristic of a migraine headache. If you notice him trying to go to sleep, possibly in odd places, or just trying to retreat to a dark, quiet area, that could be what you're working with. If he feels fine after waking up, it might be a good idea to mention it to his doctor when you see the doctor again, or call them if it happens again before your next appointment.
My other son suffers from sinus and allergy problems, so he will often get a headache around the time there is a change in weather (rain or just gloomy weather, quickly followed by sunshine, or vice versa). The drainage at that time causes him to feel sick to his stomache. If he seems stuffy, has other cold-like symptoms, is snoring or is snoring louder than usual, or if you, like me, suffer from frequent sinus problems, give him a child-strength decongestant and anti-histamine, and an expectorant. We give my son a Claritan, and a dose of Mucinex Jr. (they're like sprinkles, so he calls it his sprinkles medicine). See if a hot or cool compress helps his headache. Encourage him to drink lots of clear fluids, and wait out the crappy weather.
If it continues into tomorrow, and/or nothing seems to help, I would suggest going ahead and taking him to the pediatrician. You can take guesses, we can tell you our experiences, but when it comes right down to it, the person most qualified to give an educated answer is your son's doctor. And that is coming from a real-life mom of two kids who will do almost anything to avoid "unnecessary" trips to the doctor. Yes, children occasionally have headaches, but it is not all that often, and is not usually something that leaves them "screaming" for thirty minutes or more, especially if they are not normally complainers.
If you are going with the staying-home and dealing with it route, alternate between Tylenol and ibuprofen. Ibuprofen is often more effective, and they can be taken more frequently than if you stick with just one medication.
Good luck! Hope your baby gets better soon!

If the medicine doesn't work, I'd probably take him to a doctor. I had frequent headaches when I was really young, and I'm glad my parents took me to the doctors before it got worse.
I know for a fact that eye strain causes headaches. Is your kid watching too much tv? That's a possibility.

For goodness sake get this child to a DOCTOR to check him out!! Do not wait, do not hesitate, get him in to be seen. You can go to a local emergency clinic for about $50 or see his pediatrician. NOW.
And never make him scream and cry before your willing to take him in to a medical professional again.

Might be dehidrated with the heat, take the kid to a walk in clinic if it persistes much longer.

hmm, is it a fever? or stuffy? it all depends. have him lay down in a nice comfy bed. if he's cold, make the room/house warm. and if it's a straight out migrane, have him lay down somewhere cool and dark.
