Yes, that's very true, it's not just Vick and it's not just drowning though. There are a lot of sick people in this world that fight dogs. The people that fight dogs abuse the dogs, neglect the dogs and torture the dogs to make them mean so they will fight and then if the dog doesn't fight well enough or doesn't fight at all they will electrocute the dog, drowned the dog, beat the dog to death, shoot the dog, hang the dog, leave the dog out in the weather to starve to death, etc. These dogs go through an unimaginable amount of pain in their short little lives! To make these dogs mean people will do things like put a huge chain around the dogs neck and put a 100 pound weight on it and leave it like that, they will keep the dogs in tiny kennels almost all day everyday and only take them out for "training", they will starve the dogs until they are almost dead and then they will hang a nice, juicy steak in the poor dogs face! If the dog doesn't try to get up and get the steak they will beat it and if the dog does try to get the steak they will beat it! They pour acid all over the dogs and leave them outside to die a slow painful death.. and that's not all! These people that fight dogs are seriously sick people!
A lot of people don't realize that the three "pit bull" breeds (American Pit Bull Terriers, American Staffordshire Terriers and Staffordshire Bull Terriers) are three of the most stable, people-friendly breeds in existence, and that's a fact. They are three of the only breeds that have been bred specifically to be human friendly and in temperament testing the APBT always tests way higher than most popular family breeds such as Goldens and Beagles! These breeds were originally bred for bull baiting and dog fighting, so an unsocialized "pit bull" can be animal aggressive, but a minimum of training and socialization will produce a sweet, loving, friendly dog. These breeds were also originally bred to be some of the best family dogs out there! They are known for their love and dependability with children and were once known as nanny dogs because of this. People choose to believe all of the crazy. unbelievable myths and twisted around, over dramatic media stories over the facts! These breeds are not born mean or vicious, they are made mean!

Yes, as reported on the news, and admitted by him. Just read that Whoppi Goldberg, on the View, defended him saying that it is a common sport where he comes from, the South. Then went on to say, that when this was made public, he realized that many people don't agree with this sport.
Bull, I'm sure most people, Southerners included, don't agree with Vick. What a weak excuse. Whoppi should be embarrassed for those statements.

Yes and electrocute them with a car battery and jumper cables. It is common practice at dog fighting rings. If the dog is put in the ring and refuses to fight, it is killed right then and there. Usually with electrocution. I agree, he and all others who are caught participating in this barbaric "sport" should pay the ultimate price!!

Yes. He shot, electrocuted, hanged, drowned, crushed, etc. etc. any loser dog to death if the dog did not die in the fight. All dogfighters do. There is no such thing as a humane dogfighter.
