You really should take her to the vet to make sure - because you may not be able to tell if she's sick just by looking at her or checking her out. It may be an emotional or physical reaction to something - you should take her to the vet to make sure asap.

She may have been in a situation where her life was in danger - this normally takes a few days to get over. People tend to forget, as cats are free spirits so to speak, that our feline friends are extremely sensitive. Just give her time .... You do not mention if she has gone off her food? If she is not eating it could be a tummy bug - if the no eating persists then you should contact the vet. Good Luck x

Are the pupils huge when they normally aren't? Does she cringe at being handled? Is there any sore spot on her? Do you have stairs she could have fallen off? Are the claws frayed from scraping on a wall trying to catch herself? Is she limping or walking with her tail held really low to the ground? Does she pull her tail in tight when moving away from you?

Check for small signs, if she seems not herself, something probably did happen.

We've had similar situations with our indoor/outdoor cats. Our vet usually recommends watching them for 24 hours. If they are eating and drinking she isn't concerned. Even when she suspected poisoning (cat was acting drunk) she didn't have us bring her in. If she was drinking, she said it would work itself out, and it did. She always recommended tuna oil or water at times like these too.

If the cat is excessively warm and/or won't drink, though, you need to get it to the vet.

Coax her out with a little food. She may have been spooked from something outside.Cats are very independent and moody.Try to keep her in at night. So many diseases cats can get from strays. Not to mention dogs that can kill them.If she doesn't seem to get better take the cat to the vet.

Is their a possibility she could be pregnant? It sounds like she is nesting, getting ready to have kittens..
