You seem to be on here every day bashing Christians. Is that what your life is about or do you ever do anything really meaningful?

The bible, similar to many ancient things, has been weathered from the times it was written. There was no KJV or NTL 2000 years ago, the bible was in Hebrew, the language of the Jews. The bible itself is not opposed to homosexuality. However, over time perversions were made to the literal translation of it, removing orgiastic behavior and replacing it within the context of homosexuality. As a defense for homophobia, people often pull verses from the bible even further out of context so that they more closely match what that person wants to say.
In regards to sexism, the is no clear cut reason it exists in a religious setting. My personal opinion, from studying Mary Magdalene and some few translations of the Essene Scrolls, is that after Christ died, he wanted Mary Magdalene AND Simon Peter to control the church.
However, Peter was as devout to shauvanism as he was to Christ, so with his patriarchical beliefs, he exiled the Magdalene to Europe (she is documented as arriving in France around this time). She could never return to Isreal, nor could she have a say in the church.
Peter continued ruling the church, allowing women little or no say in what was done. The church continued, with little or strict guidelines. It wasn't until the year 325 AD that a more solid foundation was added to the church, 320 years after Christ's birth. The Council of Nicea made the decisions as to what to include in the bible. Anything that the members of the council didnt agree with was omitted, and a new bible was formed. A one-sided, extremely conservative translation of the original text that was written with "divine intervention."
In short, the bible never supported the discrimination of others based on physical or emotional differences. An example of this is the story of Christ and the Leper. My advice would be, "don't let other peoples' sin and cruelty guide your faith. The Pope is not infallible and God loves ALL of his children, regardless of sex, orientation, disabilities and so forth.
I hope that helps.

Most religions are really supporting all of the above plus much more--obviously, these are false and do not represent God but instead they support Satan's system in which we are living. So, then it is not OK to say the Bible has any part of Satan's system because the Bible is the Word of God.
The Bible warns us of the Devil and those despicable wicked ways that belong to the corrupt society that is Satan's.

The bible doesn't support bigotry; yes the Jews are God's chosen people, but it doesn't make them any better than anyone else. Even the Bible says "For God so loved the WORLD that he gave his only Son to die for our sins" John 3:16
Sexism? No. in fact almost as many woman prophets and important woman figures as their were men. Remember ladies you are special; men were created from dust, and Woman were created from man's rib.
Homophobia? not necessarily homophobic, it just taught Homosexuality is wrong. Ya uve probably heard the line "God created Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve" If God wanted us to b homosexual then He wouldn't have created 2 sexes. Remember what God did to Sodom and Gomorrah...he destroyed it. And alot of the people in that place were into sexual immorality...homosexuality was the worst.
Well i hope this helps.
So its not supporting any of those things.

It's not ok, and some people are starting to realize it. A few religions are kinder to homosexuals and against bigotry (can't think of one off the top of my head -- maybe individual practitioners), but all religions share a belief in the supernatural without evidence.
That doesn't make sense to me. Why organize a short, precious life using a shot in the dark, the expectation that a god exists?

Bigotry, sexism and homophobia are not okay. Unless they are under the guise of some ancient belief system that, for some unknown reason, demands respect, when it cannot provide the same respect it demands to others. Why? Dont ask me - for some reason, "tradition" seems a good excuse to others.

God will bless people who bless Israel and punish people who do no longer... It became into the promise from the start to Abraham and verify out the punishment. The countries around Israel right this moment are all undesirable, hate ridden controlled people who have no selections or freedom to make judgements for themselves of even pay attention the fact approximately their fake faith. Punishment continues to be forward in considered one of those nuclear substitute pronounced in the Bible in Zech 14 in basic terms previously Jesus comes back back.

The Bible can be twisted to support anything. It's not okay but it is the human way - if you disagree with something and you can find something that says that God disagrees with it too - even if you are twisting everything he said - then you do it. Thats just how today's religion tends to work.

Religion yes.
The Bible No.
Religion is man made and Christianity is currently hijacked by racists who control the religion. That is why all of the characters in the bible are made white in movies, annimations etc. These people are the biggest hypocrites on the planet, and most of them are members of the Republican party.

The corner stone of most faiths/beliefs is hatred of one kind or another. The best way to unite people is to have a common foe.
LOL so I guess Churches, Mosques and the Synagogues are an Atheists "axis of Evil".

Why is it bad to think that homosexuality is wrong? There are a myriad of things that different religions consider sins, yet only believers that homosexuality is a sin get so much flack about it.
