I reverted to Islam because I didn't like a lot of things in Christianity like how women should be seen and not heard, how all women are an Eve and how it's their fault that Adam(PBUH*) and Eve fell from the Garden of Eden. I didn't like the "Original sin" and didn't like how babies were born in sin. I also didn't agree with the Bible saying that all women are good for is making babies and don't have souls and are going to burn in Hell even if they are good. I didn't like the idea of worshiping Jesus(PBUH*) as God. Alhamdullilah I am Muslim and will stay Muslim until I die Insha ALLAH.

I was born into a Catholic family. I bounced around trying to find something that felt right. I found it.
I didn't convert to suit my personality, no. I followed my soul and my bloodlines. My Gods called me, not the other way around.
And trust me, it's NOT convenient to be Asatru.

Hi there! :)
I was raised Christian, and I converted to the Pagan path I am now on when I was 19. I started studying it at the age of 12 but didn't make my choice for 7 years purposely. My parents urged me to seek what felt right for me.
Christianity just didn't "call" to me. I guess you could say it didn't suit me. I just didn't agree with it, and it gave me no feeling of hope or joy like I have now as a Witch.
Blessed be!

My previous one simply wasn't working for me. And my current one was filled with so many things that I long believed but just hadn't organized yet. Believe me, I researched high and low for this one.
EDIT: To the guy below me, why try to reinvent the wheel? I'm still "myself", I just happen to have an accurate label now for my beliefs, and more importantly a framework I can work within.

No, I chose my path because after many years of study, it's the only one that made sense. I guess that my personality fits it is a coincidental factor. It definately had nothing to do with my friends or family's belief systems, as they all differ from my own.

I was Catholic, and loved my religion. I still love Catholicism, always will. It fit most of my personality just fine.
I became a Baha'i not out of convenience, but out of Biblical proof. TRUST ME, it's not convenient to be a Baha'i. In fact, it's not an easy decision at all. I had to re-evaluate EVERYTHING I had ever learned spiritually throughout my entire LIFE.
The cincher for me were the time prophecies fulfilled in the Baha'i Faith. No matter how uncomfortable I felt, no matter how upset and afraid, I couldn't deny math. Numbers don't lie.

i guess that u could!!
But religion is NOT about personality its about TRUTH!! And if u mean that u just dont wanna live like that thats STUPID!!
for example....
Baptist- if u like to drink and think that its OK to get drunk every night and thats why u switch thats idiotic!!
muslim- if u wanna eat pork then that is just stupid to believe in reincarnation so id switch to!!
Buddism- if u dont wanna pray to 500 diffrent Gods 1 for school 1 for sin 1 for food 1 for salvation 1 for safty 1 for...., ect then that is a good idea cuz that is just stupid and to complex when u can just pray to one God that takes care of everything
Catholic- Cuz u have added books and are readin and studin them for no reason but sining (cuz it says in the Bible to add and take away nothing) and would rather pray to Jesus directly rather than thru Mother Mary then she prays to him then those are all good reason to switch to Baptist or Christian
Im baptist and that is what i believe why go thru all that non sence if u dont have to!!
Like buddism i dont wanna pray to 500 diffrent Gods and i dont wann keep redoin life till i get it right then am blown out like a candle!!
And like Hinduism i dont wanna keep beein reincarnated till i get it right and am finally a cow!!
And i just wanna be Baptist!!

Yes and no. I'm inclined to see things "literally"... and to inquire until I can't think of any more questions. I like to understand things, and understand opposing views (not just know about them, but really understand)
This caused me to leave the christian church... I'd describe myself as agnostic.
