Surprisingly, golf has not grown much at all for most of Asia. Very few people golf in Asia because of golf course scarcity. There’s more golf courses in Florida than all of Korea and Japan combined.

Golf among the wealthy is what has grown. Asian culture is very opposite of American culture. The wealthy in those countries encourage daughters to play more golf than sons. This is because wealthy Asian families encourage sons to concentrate on studies and develop careers. If you’re a college age dude and good at golf in Korea or Japan, people wonder why you’re not spending that time studying to become a doctor/lawyer/investment banker. Women aren’t strongly encouraged to develop white-collar careers as much as men.

Golf is super expensive in Asia and has not grown much at all. The trend you’re seeing here are just a large group of wealthy Asian daughters who had time to learn golf at their parents’ country clubs. Grace Park’s dad is a huge restaurant tycoon in Korea. Golf is a nation obsession in Asia, so they are excellent golfers,why not compete on the biggest stage. Sounds like you just want the LPGA to a white only country club rather than reflect society. Get over it, OK.

Asians may be shorter because of the fact of their eating regimen, yet they stay longer on standard. To be trustworthy although, they have not extremely began playing western activities yet...whilst they do, they are going to dominate.

Apparently Korea looks at women's golf with more respect than the U.S. They are training their girls to play. Maybe American girls have more distractions and parents don't show the same enthusiasm towards their daughters being professional athletes.

On the leaderborad, there's always like 3-4 people with those like 3-word names like Ah Ree Song, Min Yee Kim. I made those up, but they're all similar.

women in the United state don't go for golf that much thy have other sports that thy are very good at
