When I was younger I used to ask myself the same question. I was trained to be a hard worker, we grew up poor and even tho we had some hard times we were taught to always do good work, show respect and have manners.
To make a long story short as ayounger guy I thought these traits would impress black women but it didn't so I was confused. finally I came to the realization that its all about culture.
Women in general tend to be attracted at first glance to someone who they can relate to, who comes from their world. If a black woman lives in an area where most guys act a certain way then social pressures will stear her into that direction. pretty soon before you know it they developmentally become a part of their attraction. Meaning that that will be the type of guy they will go for. Its just too weird for them to want anything else, until they get older and get tired and want to try something new. I find this to be the case most of the time.
lol This is also the reason why some black guys date white women. I dated white girls a lot in my younger days and I got hated on for it but I only did it because they were the ones who were accepting me for who I was. I didn't have to act like a thug or act hard; I could just be myself and it was ok.

I'm going to ignore the insult at the end because that was a very low blow, but I forgive you. You can't generalize like that. ..it's not fair to us sisters who do appreciate a good, kind, loyal hard working man and who have GOOD HYGIENE. Sounds like you are bitter and cynical and I'm sorry someone has tainted your view of black women like that. . but really, take it down a notch. Not all sisters are looking for thugs. . There are sisters such as myself who are kind, caring, loyal and committed and looking for man who is the same. . I'm not intimitdated by a good hard working black man. I wish there were more out there. However, I am annoyed by an ignorant male who put all black women in the same category and doesn't know that *** is spelled with two s's instead of three.
