if you don't eat at least 800 calories a day, you will gain that weight back and then some, no matter how healthy your foods, when you start to eat more normally. If you will eat 1000 calories a day and do the exercises you mention it will take you about four weeks to lose the weight, and it won't be the shock to your system that your proposed diet plan will so you won't gain it back, if you maintain the exercise when you start to eat more normally.

To a very high degree, you should weigh as much as you feel happy with weighing.

As long as you are at a weight where you are healthy, the most important part is that you are HAPPY with your weight... not that you "should be X pounds", but that no matter what you weigh, you are happy with that instead of striving to be a size 2 or something like that

That being said, if you want to lose weight, exercise is a really good (and safe) way to lose weight. In addition to that, I would recommend meeting with a nutritionist or dietitian to see if there is something else that may benefit you more.

Oh, and you'll gain more weight doing that because your body will go into starvation mode. You'll burn more fat if you have a healthy breakfast because that jump-starts your metabolism.

As soon as you go to "maintaining the weight in a healthy way" you're going to gain a lot of weight back. You're messing with your metabolism by doing this, and it will only help in the short term.

Also, we would need to know what kind of exercise you're doing, and how much other stuff you do a day.

Oh, and eating breakfast will make you eat less throughout the day - how about you eat that yogurt for breakfast and then have some fruit for lunch?

Please take care of yourself :(

since you already admit you have an eating disorder, PLEASE start by consulting your doctor.

Depending on your age and build, and activity, levels, you should not drop below 1000-1200 calories a day and the diet you describe doesn't sound like it will be that much.

A safe level of weight loss is 2-2.5 pounds a week, so you should shoot for bout 6 weeks to lose 15 pounds.

There is a world of difference between losing it and keeping it off and losing it fast and having it come back and bringing friends.

Crash dieting and extreme diets are dangerous and do not last long term. They tend to lower your metabolism which makes it harder to keep off weight or to get rid of it the next time.

close to 6 weeks but you have to eat more. If your body senses it is starving, it will begin to store fat which is not what you want it to do. fuel your body with healthy choices and eat 5-6 small meals (3 meals, 3 snacks) throughout the day to give your body the energy it needs. doing this and eating approx 1400 -1600 calories/day combined with exercise will help you lose and keep weight off. 1-2 lbs/week is healthy, you need to cut or burn 3500 calories to lose 1 lb.

You need to eat more. Your body will go into starvation mode and you wont lose any weight if you eat like that. The average person should eat about 1500 calories a day.
