This first thing I do Nick is point them to the definition of eternal in a good dictionary. Eternity does not necessarily convey Neverending. Like many words it has more then one meaning and the one the translators chose to relate to us in this word is seemingly endless. It will take a long time for us to unlearn all the negative things we have gathered around us during our life time. It will take some of us a lot longer then others. How do we know ? The greek word used here aionios is a measurement of time. Everlasting cannot be measured of course because it has no end. It is used as a reference. The mistake most people make when looking at this definition is to try to include all the definitions which is of course incorrect, only one applies. Even some of the Greek dictionaries have a problem with this word and its root word aion. Now lets get to that fire. Is it the literal fire I see in my fireplace? I don't think a spiritual place controlled by a just God has a literal fire. Can a literal fire burn a spirit or soul? If this is a spiritual burning of the mind caused by our refusal to understand the concepts of love and perfection I can understand that. Thats self inflicted, not God inflicted. An eternal burning hell was not taught until the 2nd or 3rd century. It was used along with a concept of perdition to scare the uneducated and bilk them out of their earthly savings. We are told very little about hell, its seldom mentioned. The Bible does not emphasize Hell. It has made some very rich. Love Kent.

several months ago i got a haircut and ended up with the same problem. my bangs ended above my eyebrows, and i cried for days about it. i found that the best thing to do is clip them back, sorta like the hair in your avatar. if your bangs are as short as mine used to be, then use some product in your hair so you can ensure all the tiny little bang hairs stay in place and clipped back! i was really upset, but everyone in my school told me that my hair looked really cute and that clipping my bangs back, worked for me. so you should try it out and see if it works for you. if not then play around with your hair and find another way to style it so your bangs will be les noticeable. or go to your stylist and ask them for advice on how to wear your hair, they'll be more than happy to help. Don't worry, your bangs will grow back in no time. Mine grew back to a normal length in a few months. and i'm sure your bangs arent as short as mine were, so yours will probably grow back to a normal length even faster. good luck tomorrow. :)

lol the only thing you can do is just let it grow out. it will be fine in 2 weeks. if you don't make a big deal about it no one else will. just don't say anything and act like nothing is wrong and no one will even notice your bangs are too short. The first week of school is all about socializing and seeing all your old friends again...everyone is so busy trying to find their classes and see whose in their classes to stress about your hair. So why should you. by the time everyone gets settles with their new schedules and re-creating their cliques you're bangs will be back to normal length.

Call someone whose hair you like. Find the name of a good stylist and beg them to see you today. Hopefully they can incorporate the bangs in a new cut or style. Take a lesson from this, find a stylist you like and stick with them. Don't go for the bargain or the drop in cause you need a cut at the spur of the moment.

Either clip them back and wait for them to grow a little or go to a different salon and ask them to cut another layer of longer bangs over the short ones to cover them up.
Next time, bring a picture of what you want and you won't end up in this mess!

I know it doesn't seem like it, but this is not the end of the world. Your bangs will grow back in on time. If it's driving you that crazy though, you might want to go back and ask her to please do something with it to make you hate it less -- face framing, maybe? This may soften the look. Or if you don't even trust her to do that, go to someone else to touch it up if you can.
Good luck, and remember, hair grows back! It's one of the better things to screw up on in life!

Pull some more hair down and cut them to the length that you want. The layer you pull down will cover up the bangs that were already cut. You will just have thicker bangs.

get yourself to Sally's and pick up the clip on pieces of hair. You can cut them to the length you need. They come in every hair color. Try a new look with accessories.
