it will be revoked. That's one of your conditions - you must stay married

You came here, got married so you could stay, didn't get your citizenship before you got divorced.

I've never heard of a conditional permanent residency. Nor have I ever heard of you being able to renew a green card to obtain full time permanent residency. I didn't know you could stay in the US permanently with a green card. Last I heard you had to leave the US every couple of years to renew it.

Of course you may have something special.

The divorce does not affect the residency. It would only affect the residency if either the residency was obtained fraudulently or if the marriage was fraudulent. If neither is the case, then the renewal shouldn't be a problem.

you will still be approved for a 10 year green card. make sure to fill out the application right stating you are now divorced. It will just take you an additional 3 years instead of just 1 year to apply for citizenship.

It's impossible for us to tell you. If you were here as a conditional permanent resident due to your marriage to a citizen, you will probably lose your status.

What's a "conditional" permanent resident?

Unless you can prove spousal abuse or some other extraordinary circumstance you will most likely be denied a permanent green card.

The liberals don't. They don't think we should even have immigration laws. They just want to hang up a big sign on the Mexican border that says "EVERYBODY WELCOME -- NO LIMIT !!!!"
