Where can I get a copy ofWindows XP? My husband accidentally downloaded a virus and ruined our hard drive.?

I have to reinstall Windows XP to get the thing to work again, right? I looked at Walmart, Target etc. and they don't sell the disc. We lost our disc 2 years ago. How much do those things go for? I was told about $200.

Hi, if you would like to use the Genuine Windows Xp then I suggest u visit ur local computer store and check for Windows Xp there as I am sure Windows Xp is still availible to the market and productions have not stopped. On the other hand u can get a pirated version though not recommended from http://www.isohunt.com
Although this may be a good time to upgrade ur Windows Xp computer. Windows Vista is out now and maybe you should give Windows Vista a shot. That can be bought at ur local computer stores as well. You can also buy a Genuine copy of Windows Xp online at http://www.microsoft.com
Again if u want something free then Linux is availible as well, I suggest PCLinuxOS at http://www.pclinuxos.com Seriously just look at the Operating Systems screen shots.

Sorry you lost your disks. I would try the vendor of your computer, if it isn't too old. The other choice is to contact Microsoft if you still have proof of purchase. Look on the cabinet of the computer. Often the Microsoft number is there.

well you can download it (a pirate version) or borrow some1s cd, then just use the number on the side of the PC case, will save you some money.
