Why are we ashamed to tell the truth, but easy to tell the lie. I am 31 years old, since I know this world I have seen a very few people who tells the truth but why the very most of us is very hard to the tell the truth but very easy to tell the lie ?

Like the old saying goes "The truth hurts". Many of us do not tell the truth because we are afraid of the outcomes. It's easier to lie than to admit the truth because we feel that we do not have to take ownership. Instead we tell a lie which gives the person the answer they do or do not want to hear.

I dont know, i think its fairly easy to tell the truth because i beleive in being upfront abotu things because your 90% likely to get caught in a lie and make things worse. Im not sayign i have never lied, becuase that would be a lie in iteself haha but i think its easier to lie becuase it makes our story sound better

well i know it easy because u don't want to create more drama by actually telling the truth but in the long run if its ur lies are found by the other then all of it is gone either that person will leave u or try to work on ur lying habits or they will start doing the same with u or cheat on u,speacking from experience

This is an American cultural phenomena. Most of us feel compelled to answer questions, even those that invade our privacy. We find telling a lie easier that saying "mind your own business" or an equivalent. Other cultures just don't answer questions they don't want to answer.
And once you learn to lie, it's hard to stop. We all want to be liked. If were weren't so dependent on others liking us, we wouldn't lie so much.
I've learned to say: "I don't want to talk about it" rather than tell a lie. But it has been a hard lesson to learn.

because when you lie you think of somthing quick to get out of trouble. and theres tons of ways 2 lie. but its hard to tell the truth cuz you could end up getting in trouble. if you really wanted to u could tell the truth. just spit it out. but you don't want 2.

because it is easier to make up a lie, and you can hide behind it and it can be whatever you make it up to be, but the truth, doesn't the truth hurt sometimes, or sometimes the truth is not something you wanna hear

we are afraid to tell the truth. it is easier to sway our likes, dislikes and anything else to fit the conversation or person we are talking/haning out with then to risk being yourself and getting the answer "wrong". We fear the a "wrong" answer will end the "frinedship". but if you are nervous to tell the truth and find the lies dripping from you lips than you need a new friend.
