ive always wondered about this and its really embarrasin and i dont want to get shouted at or anything but,

are you supposed to have pubic hair?! LOL!
or are you meant to get rid of it and if so do you?
i dnt really wanna shave it! cos' thats like so cringey!
im so shy about asking! by the way, im 15 going on 16.

well there isnt really a rule anywhere saying you shouldnt have it. You dont have to shave it. I trim mine just so it doesnt look all crazy.

It is a personal choice. Some going all natural and never shave or wax. Some people wax the sides and leave the rest. Some people wax or shave it all.

Shaving can cause bumps and it really itches when it grows back in. Waxing last longer but it costs and you may be shy about someone else waxing you.

I think that unless you need to remove hair for a bathing suit or some other reason, just leave it for now.

You're supposed to have it... as for shaving it - that's all a matter of personal preference. Some people leave it, some shave it all, some just shave it so they can wear their favorite suit without any unwanted hair showing... And no need to be shy! All girls deal with it!

If you shave it it will get itchy but you do want to shave the line between the leg and crotch the bikini line so hair is not showing out of the bathing suit.some ppl do shave it all off that is a personal choice but if you thank it is getting to long carefully trim with scissors.

I would shave it but not completely? I mean it depends. Go with how you want to shave it. Some people leave a line of hair and some people shave it completely. All I know is that men do not like a bush... Rofl. So I would shave it.

Yes, you are supposed to have pubic hair. That is a part of growing up. You don't have to shave it if you don't want to. You can just trim instead of shaving. If you do want to shave then you need to trim it first and then shave. Just be really careful.

Yes pubic hairs serves a purpose and is supposed to be used for friction in sex. You have the choice whether to shave it or not. People shave it because partners want them too, it is too long to deal with, or for a change. Other people don't because it doesn't bother them. it's up to you on what you want to do with it.

You're supposed to have it. You can leave it, shave it, wax it, dye it funny colours, whatever you want. Personally, I shave it to about a 1/2 inch with an electric razor made for that (and it also does my bikini line!). Its cleaner, doesn't look so funny, and doesn't poke out the sides of my bikini. You'll have time to decide what you want to do.

At this point, trimming so that you don't look like you're smuggling a gopher when you wear a swimsuit is good enough.

That hair grows there for some reason. Likely in case we humans didn't invent clothes at some point.

Later on, shaving/waxing/heavier trimming will be appreciated by sexual partners.

While you're at it, shave your armpits!

Yes , girls and guys have pubic hair. It up to you if you want to shave ,don't have to all the time. When at the beach- please shave. Your to young for sex but that a good time to shave a little. But hair keeps me warmer in the winter.

your suppose to have it yes and it will grow out of control if you don't keep it trimmed or shaved...and that's all up to you most guys like it trimmed and maybe shaved up under..its just like you are suppose to have hair under your arms too but most girls shave it off cause its so unsightly well so is to much pubic hair too...so keep your self groomed and nice looking down there too.
