Anyone know why lefty isnt playing in the BMW tourny?

It is because he just won, and wants to spend time with his family.

He probably had good ideas (about the fed exlax cup) and they wouldnt listen to him. This win redems the southpaw and makes for a nice end to a season. After his summer slump and injury I am happy Phil was able to stand the pressure of the stage with Tiger. I like Phil and I would of bet against him in a threesome with Tig and VJ.

He has megamillions and more and more is prioritizing family life over golf. He clarified that his minor beef with Finchem did not dictate this decision, but also said that because Finchem didn't follow through on certain requests Phil doesn't feel bad about not supporting the FedEx cup. Sounds fair to me.

omg he is not playing?????? that just goes to show what a joke the fed ex cup is. the pga should penalize anyone in the top 70 that does not play. the game needs more integrity or i can't justify watching it even though i love it.

Cause he proved he can beat tiger, so that's the season for him, and with the weirdness in the fed ex cup points, he´ll probably continue to be in first place, unless Tiger wins then he´ll be in 2nd
