Is this age difference weird?
Would a 15 year old going out with an 18 year old be weird?
I know that the 18 year old would be considered illegal. But Im talking in terms as if that was not a law. I mean seriously you know how many people are dating "illegally"

Dont worry guys, Im not the type of girl to do stuff. I'll stick with kissing thanks.
I'd say we both have alot in common and get along great. He doesnt seem like the type to pressure me, and defiantly isnt a stupid immature kid.

Im pretty mature for my age, I'll admit, I can be immature, but for the most part Im not an idiot.
BTW, Im 15 and a girl..hes the 18 year old.

It's not illegal for an eighteen year-old to date a fifteen year-old; rather, it's illegal for the two the have sex. The problem is, I couldn't tell you how the law defines sex.

Anyway, I had a girlfriend who was that much younger than me. She turned sixteen a couple months after I turned eighteen, and we did exactly what you mentioned. We kept our physical relationship on the mild side, and didn't even touch the whole sex thing. You'll have to talk a lot of things out together, but that's how it works in any relationship.

I won't say it's WEIRD - however, it's rather dangerous for an 18-year old to be "dating" someone who is legally a minor (I'm assuming that the 15 is still under the age of consent in your state).

I'm not saying it's right or wrong - just that he's treading on dangerous grounds in terms of legality. If he's willing to never make any type of sexual advances (and is willing to never ACCEPT any sexual advances on your part towards him) until you're of legal age... then I wish y'all the best of luck.

Realize, however, that you're both VERY young and y'all will probably start finding less & less things in common. Your goals will start to change - he'll need to start thinking of adult responsibilities and duties (college, a job, his future career, etc) where as you're still thinking of finishing high school.

Well, when I was 14, I dated an 18 year old. I'm 32 now and was dating a 40 year old a few months ago. I've always preferred older men. I feel more of a connection with older men than I do with men my own age, and always have.
