I don't really get that scared, i know my dentist personally, and even though the past few times ive been there to have my teeth drilled, the novacane really helps. Plus he lets me turn up my iPod or my XM radio up so i can't hear the drill. The downside is i have to turn it down every time he askes me a question when his tools are in my mouth. Its just so funny that dentists still havn't figured out that he can't understand u when his fingers are in ur mouth when he starts talking to u, and tries to get u to respond. But i find my music players do drown out the sound of drilling, and it also keeps me calm during surgery too.

I am. I'm afraid they're going to fnd something wrong. It's like that no matter how hard I try to care for my teeth something happens.
I know they're not out to find problems...they're there to help with problems that happen anyway but I feel like they're out to get me with this 'What can I find wrong today?' type thing.

I am not afraid, just don't like it since I have always had bad teeth. Now that I use that prescription toothpaste I don't mind.
