It started about 3 months ago (about 6 weeks after my baby was born). At first I thought I was having an allergic reaction and went to the ER because I could barely breathe. Hhowever, they said that my oxygen level was normal and said that it could be an anxiety attack. It got worse over the next few weeks. Now it effects me no matter what I eat--although some things worse than others. My throat feels like it's closing on me and I have a hard time breathing. It feels like I'm being karate chopped in my neck/throat area. Or, you know when you are trying not to cry and you get a llump in your throat? It feels like that. I don't have medical insurance and don't know what to do. Has anyone else had these symptoms? I've lost 8 lbs in the past 2 months because I just stop eating when it does this.

you could have esophageal strictures caused by reflux during pregnancy, would suggest you see a gastroenterologist and get it dealt with.

This surpassed off to me... I had my abdomen valve herniate and abdomen acid became into irritating my esophagus. It had closed my throat all the way down to the element the place i could no longer swallow a chew of bread. Now I take Prevacid which shuts down the acid pumps on your abdomen and that is been good because. communicate on your well-being practitioner approximately this concern.

You should go to the Dr. I had the same problem and they sent me for an EGD a test where they put you to sleep and they put a tube with a camera down your throat to see what is going on.
