my boyfriend and me have been off and on latly but we are back on and everything was going good like it was when we first started dating untell i went and hung out with him this past weekend i mean he would not hold my hand and he would try and push me away but he would do it in a joking kind of way but it steal hurt and he had some of his friends over i was wondering is it b/c his friends where over that he was acting like that or was there more im worried i may lose him agian but he says i wont should i trust what he says?

Some people have problems with public displays of affection. Has he acted like this before? Is he still affectionate in private? If so, it may just be the in-public thing.

Also, some folks feel a little put out or uncomfortable when a couple is too affectionate around them. Your man may be trying to be considerate of that.

Ask him! Tell him that he surprised you by acting that way and what's up with it? Be cool about it, though. He just might have a good reason.

Most guys dont want to act "whipped" around their friends... even holding hands comes off as whipped to them because theyre so immature.
