Yes, I had two removed... one from my right arm (near elbow), the other from my chest (below the neck), both similar in size as yours. I had mine removed by my Dermatologist. The needle they use is fairly thin so you only feel a pinch. The mole freezes right away. The doctor then took a surgical knife and cut it out. It was as simple as that. For about a week you will have the same feeling as a scrape that is trying to heal. It is important to keep the open wound clean and apply an anti bacterial cream. In less than a couple of weeks, it will be completely healed at which time you will start applying Vitamin E oil to reduce the scar. Like I said I had it done twice...I just wish I had them removed sooner because there is nothing to it. My advice, go to your Dermatologist and don't even worry about it. There is no pain to be afraid of.

I used some herbal mole remover. It took 20 minutes and then the moles turned into scabs. I think it depends on how you heal as to whether it would leave a scar. My moles were on my face 'scary to try that but I did' and one on my neck. The important thing seemed to be that because the mole turned into a scab you must not pick the scab. So if you want to know will it scar, well do you normally scar if you get a scab and don't pick it off and just let it heal? I don't have a single scar. First off my skin went pink which is because it is new skin and then after about a month it was pretty much normal colour. I love the stuff and would happily use it again if I had more moles. No cutting, no pain. Actually my doc advised me not to have them removed because of scarring. Twaddle! It depends on what method you use. You must get your doctor to check it out though. The price I paid was cheap compared to the lazer and scraping methods. I got mine from here www.wartmoleremover.co.uk it is just paste that you put on the mole wait 20 mins wipe it off. my moles disappeared infront of my eyes. All that is left turns to a scab and you just leave it to heal. I bought mine with camellia oil it came with it and that helps stop scarring. Get it checked out then get some paste from this place. good luck only downside is it will set you back about £50 but that is including the oil and when I looked it up the oil was about £38 on its own. on the website I told you you get the paste to get rid of the mole and the oil to stop scarring. A bargain really. they had some photos of before and after on there as well so you can see for your self.

I had one removed from my upper right cheek, a little smaller than yours. It was raised. I had a plastic surgeon do it - frankly it really hurt when he dug it out, because he didn't give me enough numbing. There is a scar, but it's really fine and light. It gets itchy at times.
Go to a dermatologist and he'll determine if the mole should be removed. I had another one I wanted removed a few inches away from my chin, and they wouldn't do that one because it would just be cosmetic.
My husband had one removed on his eyelid, and it regrew within a year - not as large as before, but don't know why that happened.

I had one removed from my chin, a plastic surgeon did it, because the general practitioner didn't want to be blamed for the scar that results. Yes, there is a small scar, but it fades over time to the point that only you can tell where it is, much less noticeable than the mole I assure you. A local anesthetic is used, not very uncomfortable at all as far as I was concerned.

I had a small one on my neck when I was little. My mom took me to a doctor and he simply removed it within a few mins. From what I remember he just dabbed it with alcohol first and then used an instrument to cut it off. It was fast and I dont remember any pain. At least not alot of pain. It didn't talk long to heal at all.

Not unless you have got a big one on your face. Anyway, the Chinese believes that removal of certain moles from the face will change its fate. Some rich people got real big one and they dun remove em worrying that their luck will change.

I had three moles removed from my face one large and two smallish size. I used the herbal paste from the wart & mole remover co the same as the other person here. It worked very well for me too.
