im a 15 year old girl and im trying to tone up my arms without gaining muscle...ive been doing push ups..will that make me gain muscle in my arms?

get a set of 5 lb "dumbells". Use one in each hand, sit at the end of your bed, watch tv or listen to music while you do "curls". alternate arms, do 10 lifts on one arm then ten on the other. The first week, do this every evening and do 3 reps of 10 for each arm. The second week, add 2 more reps of ten to each arm The third week, do as many as you can each evening and continue that. You will really see a difference in the "tone" of yur arms in 4 weeks, in 6 weeks, your friends will be making comments on how good your arms look. When you get them to where you want the to look, just maintain that by doing reps every 3rd day.

Push ups work your pecs. Try curls and tricep dips.
