What should I do? Whenever I tilt my head to the left, it pains even more.

place a moist heating pad on the neck for twenty minutes, afterwards massage an analgesic cream into the area. This will help relax the muscles. Advil liquid capsules work good for pain relief, take them four times a day. Make sure you sleep on your back. That's the only way you can keep your spine in correct alignment and prevent further problems.

For immediate help I would recommend you see a chiropractor as soon as possible. The doctor would be able to take away the pain on the first visit.
