Ok, so my boyfriend and I love to lay next to each other on the couch when watching a movie. He loves to cuddle, but I've never really been in a relationship where I actually loved the guy and cuddled with him and stuff, so I feel retarded, lmao. But, anyways, I'll get to my question now. Ok, so he's laying on his back and I'm laying next to him (his left side) and I lay my head on his chest and my arm is on him and all, but what the hell do I do with my friggin right arm?! I mean, I "lay" on my right arm for a while but it falls asleep, lol, so I have to do something?? And my couch is small, so yea. Help? =] lol. I feel so dumb xD But yea, help pleeease =] Thank you!

Oh, and I sleep cuddling a pillow, like I'll lay on my side and I'll be hugging the pillow. So, that would be good for cuddling, right? But does a guy really like laying on a girl's arm? I would think he would find it uncomfortable? O_o help lol I'm cuddle-tarded!!

Lol I love some of the answers you have got so far. Put a pillow under his head, then instead of putting your arm under his head put it under the pillow...lol i hate when my arm falls asleep as well, but I love the guy so I deal with it :)

Not retarded at all. When cuddling with my girlfriend as we go to sleep at night, my arm always falls asleep. I haven't found a good solution yet.
Mostly, I just shift positions every few minutes. A good position is when I'm on my back, and she lays next to me with her head on my chest, and I put my arm around the back of her neck and over her shoulder. That position, like when we're watching a movie or something, is really good.
Just experiment to find what works best for both of you. Practice makes perfect, and it's lots of fun, too...

Yeah, I know exactly what you're talking about. Basically, you just position your right arm straight along the side of his body. Eventually, yes - it will fall asleep.
That is why I'm an avid fan of the "spoons" position. I'm sure you already knew this, but that's where you both lay on your left/right sides, sort of like two spoons on top of each other. So, say you're both lying on your left sides, he can slip is left arm under your neck and his right arm over you, and your arms are free to do whatever you want with them! Much more cozy.

Just move yourself around until you are comfortable. Ask your guy to move away from the back of the couch about 6 inches or so, and then you can squeeze in there on your side. Your right arm just kind of gets trapped underneath you. It's not always the most comfortable but it can bring some closeness for awhile. Don't worry too much about it though...i'm sure he just likes that you want to lay on him.

I almost asked this same question, but I didn't know how to word it. I sleep on his right side and I can't figure out what to do with my left arm. I usually put my arm over my stomach. If he has his right arm around me then sometimes I can reach a little to hold his hand, but it still feels weird.

Just put your arm under him... its still gonna fall asleep prolly faster!! Anyhow try putting your arm under his neck if it isn't too uncomfortable for him. Or rest your head on your right hand...really no matter what you do it is going to fall asleep! Good luck!!

when yous cuddle, why don't you lay on your side and then have him lay behind you and hold you that way.. then you wont have to worry about your arm falling asleep...

lmao, that happens to the best of us! what i do is either lay on my arm or i position it so that my right arm is resting on his left thigh. or put your right arm behind his head.
