You can't lose weight on just one part of your body, the human body just doesn't work that way. You may just be shaped this way, and not much can change that. Your best bet would be to strength train your legs and build muscle. Muscle takes up less space than fat and could help your legs appear more slim.

It is true that you cannot burn fat on a specified body part but certain exercises CAN tone those problem areas and help you build muscle which in turn firms up and helps burn fat in that area with cardio workouts.

I suggest eating a healthy well balanced diet, drinking at least 8 glasses of water a day and an exercise routine that includes aerobic and weight training for 30min - 1hour a day and also focus your weight training on your bottom half with lunges and squats. I guarantee you'll see results within 10 days.

your diet ultimately determines the level of body fat but genetics determines where that fat is stored first and last and released from first and last. fat loss is the same regardless of the body type. you need to clean up your diet and eat mainly whole foods and high fiber carbs and make sure that you are consuming enough nutrients on a regular basis. body fat analysis aids in determining your caloric intake for your level of daily activity. the combination of both resistance training and cardiovascular exercise will provide optimum results for fat reduction and for increasing overall health and fitness. the intensity at which your exercise at determines how much of an effect there will be in the metabolic rate after exercise. basically at the conclusion of exercise you should be breathing pretty heavily, well above a normal level

When we want to get rid of body fat, there is no way to specifically burn fat from one part of the body. Doing situps won't burn the fat that is covering your abs and doing tricep extensions won't get rid of the fat that is covering your triceps. The only thing you can do is lose weight all around and eventually the problem area will also improve. The way to burn fat is through a calorie restricted diet in conjunction with an exercise routine that will burn calories. Activities that burn calories include running, biking, swimming and other high intensity activities.

It's not healthy to be fat. But it's no one else's problem. Though I believe childhood obesity should be considered child abuse. It's not fair on the children. Also, you can enjoy something in moderation as well. Just saying.

you cant lose weight from one part of your body easily........
you actually have a good height and weight
wear normal clothing and don't give into peer pressure
you judge yourself
if you want to change your proportions eat several small meals to keep the muscle flow going

i hate to say it but there isnt much you can do.. thats your shape have to learn to love it.. yes you can do exercises on those areas but you are never going to be that slim in that area because its not the shape you were made for.. the only option would be lipo.. i dont recommend that though..

I agree with straighthealth17 with one exception. Swimming can be horribly anaerobic. I asked a walrus about that one.
