How do I download additional drivers to my Mac?

I'm trying to download the drivers that my college has so that I can save my work to them and then access it with any computer on campus. I have something downloaded, but the only thing I can get it to open with it text editor. I really need this to work, because a lot of my professors want me to tun papers in by saving them to one of the drivers I'm supposed to download.

They aren't "drivers". You need to go to the college's tech support office and ask them to show you how to do what you want.
