alright so I dont think that its fair that my mom doesnt want me and the love of my life to date. Its because he lives three and a half hours away I recently was in a crap relationship with a guy who lived 45 mins away and she thought that was a waste of time so now she doesnt want me to date this other guy ..... grrrrr I think it was my xs fault but what would you do in my situation...?
*I know that sounds chessy but I swear, Ive never met a better guy and I know alot of guys**(no I didnt meet him on line, hes not a creep!!)

Perhaps your mom is as sick and tired of the incredible number of young girls asking how they can break the news of being pregnant to their parents as we are.
God bless your mother.

16 is a good age to date. That is when my dad said I could do that. Well the only problem I see with him living 3 hours away is going to be hard. You wont be able to see him as much and what not. If I was your mom I would think that was good cause I wouldnt have to worry about you getting pregnant...lol. But talk to your mom and see what the real problem is. If the points seem valid then take her advice..besides there are a lot of men out there...take your time.

Let her meet him. Have a date at your house with your mom. Then see what she has to say about him. Just be sure that he makes a good impression! If he really is as great as you say then she will see that in him too.

You sound awfully young and honestly your mom just doesn't want you to get your hopes up and get hurt. It may be your ex's fault but that doesn't mean your mom is wrong, she just wants what's best and in your best interest, I think it's probably better to wait.

Listen to you mom. She knows what is good for you. You sound too young to be dating. Wait until you're older.

Listen to your mom. And how old are You?
You need to learn to assess people. Plenty of males are around to dupe small girls and have a f*** of a lifetime for free.

my mom doesent want me to date either. You are just going to have to play along, as will this gut,Ask your mom if he can come hang out some time make your mom like him as much as you do,Then if/when she learns to trust him maybe she will allow you to date.
